The Witcher 3 Feline Gear, also known as Cat Gear, is light Witcher armor designed for those who prefer to dodge in and out of range and like to see their resistance maxed out at all times.
While diagrams for some of the later pieces are found in Skellige and Toussaint, you will begin your quest in Velen and Novigrad.

While many of these can simply be found around the world, the most powerful items must be created using diagrams that you can find in the world. The best armors are usually Witcher School gear, each of which has a quest line associated with it.

Standard Feline Gear, Sword, and Armor Locations
Feline Steel Sword Location
Around the middle of the map, just south of the Gate of Glory that you probably used to enter Novigrad, is Drahim Castle. Make your way to the bottom floor of the building via the ladder and you will see a chest containing the diagram.
To prepare this, you need:
1 Leather Straps 4 Iron Ingot 1 Monstrous Saliva 1 Ruby Dust
Feline Silver Sword Location
East of Novigrad is Est Tayiar. If you look around, you will find a large hole in the ground that leads to a long, ancient tunnel. Jump into the hole and look to your right to see a poorly constructed wall. Explain it with your Aard sign and you will find the diagram behind it.
To prepare this, you need:
1 Monster Eye 2 Silver Ingot 2 Leather Straps 1 Ruby Dust

To the east of the main landmass that houses Dragim Castle is a shipwreck. Climb aboard and then go down some stairs to the main body of the ship and there you will find the diagram inside a chest.
To prepare this, you need:
2 Hardened Wood 1 Monster Bone 1 Monster Hair 1 Wax 1 Dark Iron Ore

A little more legwork for this collection of diagrams. On Temple Island there is a hidden cave to the northwest of the island. If you head to the west of the island and hug the outside as you head north, you will find a path that leads to a cave.
Enter, dispel the illusion, and you’ll have a Golem to fight. Once you’ve done that, exit out the left side of the cavern and you’ll come to a room with some statues. Turn the levers so they are all facing the small area between them and a puddle of water will open.
Kill the drowned people to claim the key to the laboratory at the bottom of the pool. Then return to the main cavern to open the door at the back. He kills the enemy you find inside and you can take the diagrams from his cold dead hands.

North of Reardon Manor is a cave. Just go in, kill the bear if necessary (sometimes it’s already full of weapons), and then pick up the diagram from a chest next to a small wall.
To prepare this, you need:

Improved Feline Silver Sword
Head to Southern Gate and head into town. Cross the bridge and go through a small arch and then a larger one, to your left is a small garden hiding a staircase. Climb the ladder and once inside, the diagram is in a chest next to the bed.
To prepare this, you need:
1 Monster Hair 2 Meteorite Silver Ingot 1 Leather Scraps 1 Cat’s Silver Sword 1 Ruby Dust
Improved Feline Chest Armor
East of Novigrad is the abandoned mansion of Aeramas. Head here and climb up the ruined building before going up the stairs and you will see a chest next to a bookshelf, inside is the diagram.
To prepare this, you need:
1 Feline Armor 4 Hardened Leather 2 Dark Steel Plate 2 Moon Shards 2 Monster Blood
Improved Feline Gauntlets
Just northeast of Hanged Man’s Tree is Codger’s Quarry. Head into the quarry and you’ll find a chest at the back of a shallow cave. There may be monsters here, but you’ll have no problem defeating them. The diagram is inside the chest.
To prepare this, you need:
2 Cured Leather 1 Feline Gauntlets 1 Dark Iron Ore 2 Monster Tooth 2 Nails 1 Hardened Wood
Improved Feline Pants
Head to the southern promenade in the northern section of Oxenfurt. Continue heading west and you can enter the building from the water’s edge. Go down the stairs and use your Witcher Senses to find a lever to open the wall, behind it is a chest with the diagram inside.
To prepare this, you need:

Improved Feline Boots
To the east of Toderas there is a cave, there is a chest a small path inside that has the diagram inside. It’s best to use your Witcher Senses upon entering to find it.
To prepare this, you need:

North of Novigrad is a cavern guarded by several monsters. There is a wooden covered area inside the cave with a chest located among other lootable items, the diagram is there.
To prepare this, you need:
1 Monster Tooth 3 Darksteel Ingot 2 Leather Scraps 1 Improved Catsteel Sword 1 Ruby
Feline Silver Superior Sword
To the east of Ursten there is a cave inside the forest, enter until you find a more open area and head left. You’ll see a breakable wall on a ledge that you can destroy with Aard to reveal a chest behind it with the diagram inside.
To prepare this, you need:

To the northwest of The Orphans of Crookback Bog are some ruins. Take a look around and you will find a chest hidden in the corner and the diagrams inside it.

You can find the diagram inside the ruins of Kaer Gelen in Skellige. Enter the Wraith Den here before climbing some stairs, and keep an eye out for openings in the wall as you ascend. You’ll find the chest hidden in a small opening as you go up.

Head to Harviken on the southeast island of Skellige. Head east of this place and you will find the entrance to a cave. Break the wall with Aard and enter to find the diagram in the chest on the right.

Head to Trottheim on the same island and head south to find another cave. Inside the cavern you will find the chest hidden behind some stalagmites and the diagram inside it.

Grandmaster’s Cat Armor and Gear Locations
Grandmaster’s Feline Chest Armor
Head east of the Arthach palace ruins in Toussaint to find a fort with a locked gate. Head right to find some scaffolding to climb before entering the courtyard and killing the bandits.
Next, look to the northeast corner of the courtyard and you will see a white door, go inside and check the painting to see the diagram and map of the other pieces.

This time head northeast of the Arthach Palace Ruins to find more ruins. There are a lot of bandits here that you must defeat. Enter the main building and turn right to find a chest with two diagrams.
