Skorupi IV Stats 100% Perfect in Pokémon Go
This week’s Featured Hour is a great opportunity to catch a Skorupi with perfect IV stats.
Skorupí.
“Perfect” means two things in Pokémon Go, depending on how you plan to use a given Pokémon. First, there’s the max version, 100% IV, which is the 15/15/15 you’re looking for for your Pokédex 4*, raids, and Master League. However, because of how CP is calculated using three stats, a perfect Pokemon IV is usually just the best version of itself in Master League.
Of course, you can’t see a Pokémon’s IV without catching it first, but with a little research beforehand, you can quickly spot a perfect Skorupi based on CP alone.
If you’re at level 30 (or higher), you’ll ideally be looking for the following CPs for a perfect 15/15/15 Skorupi:
The wild CP value aligns with your trainer level until you reach level 30, and since the majority of the player base is now above this level, we’ve kept these values for the sake of simplicity. However, these values will be different if you are currently below level 30.
Is Drapion good at PvP?
Dragon.
Drapion is a slightly left option in Pokémon Go’s Go Battle League.
Running Poison Sting, Crunch, and Aqua Tail, Drapion is the highest rated Poison-type Pokemon in Great League. It has a flexible and spammy moveset, thanks in large part to Poison Sting’s charge speed. It also applies decent shield pressure with Aqua Tail and occasionally has an enemy defense debuff with Crunch. All things considered, it’s a decent moveset.
In league matchups, Great League offers the opportunity to beat Trevenant, Froslass, Lanturn, Sableye, and Noctowl. Meanwhile, losses will come from Swampert, Azumarill, Galarian Stunfisk, Medicham, and Alolan Ninetails.
Ultra League is a completely different story. While he executes the same moves, the competition has changed vastly and he is no longer in the top five for writing venom. It’s still decent; There are simply better options. The matchups look like this: wins against Jellicent, Cresselia, Trevenant, Giratina, and Alolan Muk; defeats against Swampert, Walrein, Obstagoon, Charizard and Tapu Fini.
Finally, we have the Master League. Do not do it; His CP is capped at 2773.

Is there a shiny Skorupi in Pokémon Go?
There’s a shiny Skorupi in Pokémon Go! The shiny was released in March 2020, as part of the Team Go Rocket Global Takeover event.

However, since Spotlight Hours does not have an enhanced shine rate, the chances of finding a shine are the same as finding one in the wild. You simply have a better chance of finding one because of the number it generates.
What does the shiny Skorupi look like?
Shiny Skorupi and Drapion are bright flashy, but very simple in the grand scheme of things. They both selectively take the blue slider and turn it down.
Shiny Skorupi takes his purples and changes them to reds. His eyes and claws remain the same color: blue and white, respectively. Shiny Drapion does the same: the eyes, eyebrows, and claws stay the same, but otherwise trades in their deep purples for a burgundy/magenta shade. Of the two, the brilliant Skorupi is definitely the best!

Other tips for this hour of attention
Besides trying to catch a perfect shiny Skorupi in Pokémon Go, there are a couple of other good reasons to participate in this week’s Spotlight. The vast majority of players who show up for this Featured Hour will undoubtedly do so to enjoy the special one-hour bonus below:
- The best reason is, of course, the double evolution XP bonus that runs throughout the hour. This gives you the opportunity to accumulate a lot of XP very quickly, so you can increase your trainer level. The best way to do this is to have two tags in your Pokémon storage dedicated to this time. The first is the things you want to evolve and keep (usually strong Pokémon and Pokémon you need to evolve to upgrade your Pokédex) and the things you want to evolve and transfer.
