Sekiro Divine Confetti Uses Explained

The Divine Confetti item, like Sekiro’s Snap Seeds, is a great help against Apparition-type enemies.

When used, a purple glow will appear on Sekiro’s weapon, granting the ability to attack ghost-like enemies, and additionally, if you perform multiple hits while the confetti is active, any special effects the enemy has will dissipate. In other words, when the confetti is active, be aggressive and get as many hits as you can.

There are a handful of specific enemies that require the use of Divine Confetti:

  • The headless minibosses
  • corrupt monk
  • O’Rin del Agua
  • Shichimen Warrior

There are a number of fixed locations where you can find Divine Confetti in the wild, but rather than writing them all down, what we’ve done below is put together a couple of places early in the game where you can find them and then detail an easy way to farm. Divine Confetti is not that long into the game, allowing you to collect a lot of resources without needing to advance too far.

Also note that when you reach the end of the game and defeat the Corrupt Monk, you will be able to purchase Divine Confetti in seemingly unlimited quantities for 300 Sen each, from Fujioka, the information broker in the Ruined Temple, and from Anayama, the peddler. in Outskirts of Ashina – Combine that with the top game rankings below with the early to mid-game farm route we’ve detailed here, and hopefully you’ll be ranked for good.

Sekiro Divine Confetti Farming Method and Easy Farming Route

There is an area not very late in the game that serves as a great place to farm Divine Confetti. Once you unlock the Upper Tower – Sculptor’s Idol from the Antechamber in Ashina Castle, there is a route you can follow to try and get a rare drop from the blue enemies.

Go up the stairs, crouch and go to the right side of the wall. Once you enter the room, you will see an enemy walking in the opposite direction. Simply follow him for a stealth run, pick up the delivery, and continue to the next hallway.

There are two more blue soldiers in the hallways, along with another enemy you don’t want to alert. The best path here is to continue towards the first enemy you see, sneak attack him, continue towards the old woman, kill her, and then continue down that corridor until you are facing the entrance to the room on your left.

You’ll see another soldier looking out the window, in a perfect spot for a third kill.

You can then return and rest on the Idol to repeat the process, or continue in this last room where you will see two soldiers, with only one facing you. This is optional, but you can use your grappling hook to reach the ceiling, walk around a bit and you will be inside the locked room in the main hall, where at least five enemies can be found.

Sekiro Divine Confetti Locations Early Game

Here are a couple of places early in the game where you can also get Divine Confetti to start:

Ashina Outskirts Divine Confetti Location

Just before you reach the Underbridge Valley Sculptor’s Idol, you’ll be in a large area surrounded by enemies. Look for the large open door and go straight. You’ll see some statues gathered around a shiny object. Pick it up and you’ll get a Divine Confetti.

Hirata Estate Divine Confetti Location

By using the idol in the main hall in Hirata Estate, you will enter a couple of areas where you can obtain up to three Divine Confetti.

For the first one, keep progressing from the Idol. He kills the first flaming archer and fights across the rooftops to the right as soon as the message appears. It is recommended that you stay as far away from the ledge as possible and keep crouching, as enemies below can quickly spot you.

Continue until the roof ends and falls. Still crouching, you can now return by hiding on the lower floors. Use this to your advantage to enter the hallway.

Once inside, you will start to see a series of enemies and items to collect. But the one you are interested in is on an empty shelf.

For the other two Divine Confetti, you must first defeat Juzou the Drunkard. Once you’re ready, head into the main hall, head left and follow the hallway until you turn left again; Note that there are two enemies there.

See those marks on the wall just after the shiny item on the right? Hug the wall and a secret room will open.

You’ll find various items inside, but look for a room filled with bookcases. Pick up the item and you’ll get two more Divine Confetti for a total of three in the Hirata Estate.

That should get you off to a good start! Remember to combine these early game locations with the farm route we described above and you’ll be golden, at least until you’ve defeated the Corrupt Monk late in the game and unlocked the ability to repeatedly purchase Divine Confetti much later on.
