As the final stretch of this epic mutant-infested adventure begins, we join Alex Wesker in the midst of his dastardly machinations to corrupt Natalia. Somewhere below, Claire and Moira make their way to their position in the elevator we last saw in Episode 3. As the scene ends, our brave duo enters the distinctly futuristic bowels of Alex’s ubiquitous tower.
Proceed along the metal walkway until you reach the door at the end. Move forward and explore the Overseer’s impressive control room. Examine the nearby TV screens, then turn around and follow the room to the right.
Open the gate
Before going through the door, examine the nearby lever. Pull it to activate a gate somewhere outside, changing the direction of the water. When you’re done, head to the nearest door and slide under the stairs to grab the Sapphire (500BP). Then, go up the steps and go through the door at the top.
Elegant aquariums line the walls of the next room. He slides the ‘Notes on Transfer Procedure’ document from the table, the ‘Neil’s Report’ note nearby, and the ‘Thoughts on Kafka’ note onto a table against the back wall. Finally, grab the Ruby (250BP) lodged in the side of the chair and break the vases to stock up on ammo.
How to lower the walkway
With your supplies reinforced, head through the open door and out onto the platform. Before you can reach the next area, you must go down the walkway to the right. Return to the previous room and look for the fish tank illuminated by a red light. Push it to the left and pull the lever back to lower the walkway out.
Then, return to the platform and begin walking around the perimeter of the room, following the newly created route. At the top of the steps, go through the double sliding doors and approach the unusual looking wall in front of you. Now it’s time for a quick, expository chat with Alex before things get urgent.
How to escape from the tower
Your immediate task is to escape the tower, so head through the doors and, as the building collapses around you, begin retracing your steps to the elevator at the beginning. Once you reach your destination, the elevator makes a loop, so locate the fallen pipe to your left and start going down. Once you reach the walkway below, follow it to the end and then go through the door.
Inside the generator room, take the left hallway to locate the breakable box and a workbench. When you’re ready, go back and follow the path to the right until you reach the sealed door in the center of the room. To continue, take out your gun and shoot the two locks holding it closed. Continue forward and go down the ladder.
Kill invisible insects
At the bottom, continue moving along the walkway and break the boxes you find along the way. As soon as you reach the intersection, an invisible insect makes its presence known. Unfortunately, you can’t see it without Natalia in your party, so you’ll have to shoot blindly. Look towards the walkway on the right and aim some shots in the air just above the cardboard boxes. With any luck, you should detect the error and eliminate it.
Move forward and follow the path that turns left. Stop immediately and look for the walkway on the left a little further ahead. There’s a second invisible bug lurking just above the railings at the junction, so fire off a few shots to take it out. Finally, continue forward and go down the ladder to the next level.
At the junction, turn left and follow the circular path. There is another invisible bug beyond the stack of three boxes, so aim and take it down. Turn left at the next junction and follow the path until you see the gate ahead. Make your way.
