Request 50 'Double the Tails, Double the Fun' in Pokémon Legends Arceus explained

Double the Tails, Double the Fun is a mid-game request in Pokémon Legends Arceus.

This is Request 50, and in it, Netta, a member of the Security Corps, wants to get a better look at a Pokémon she once caught a glimpse of.

She’s not sure what it is exactly, but she remembers that it had two tail fins.

Please note that because this quest is unlocked after a main quest, there may be some spoilers ahead. Speaking of which, if you need help with the story, our Pokémon Legends: Arceus walkthrough will come in handy.

How to Complete Request 50 ‘Double Tail, Double Fun’ in Pokémon Legends Arceus

You can find Netta in Jubilife Village, near the pastures. This request will become available once you have the ability to travel in water, which is a special Pokémon interaction that you can unlock in the main questline.

This will be (spoilers) upon completing mission 10, The Lordless Island.

Once it appears, simply talk to Netta to learn that she wants to see a Pokémon she saw earlier, one with two fins on its tail.

To be honest, these could be a few different Pokémon, but for the purposes of this request, she’s talking about Finneon. Finneon can be found in the Cobalt Coast lands. Specifically, you will find them swimming around the waters of Seagrass Haven. They can be found and captured at any time of the day or night.

Seagrass Haven is a small group of islands southwest of Volcano Island.

You will have to swim in Basculegion to catch a Finneon. Keep an eye out for water movement as it can be a little difficult to spot them as they swim. Fortunately, though, they don’t easily run away or fight you if they see you.

If you’re having trouble throwing Poké Balls at them from Basculegion’s back, remember that jumping into the air using the Y button slows down time, giving you a better chance to aim.

Once you’ve caught a Finneon, simply return to Netta in Jubilife Village and show it to her to complete the quest.

Our Pokémon Legends Arceus walkthrough will help you choose a starter Pokémon and win the Kleavor boss fight. You are also tasked with filling Hisui’s Pokédex by obtaining new evolutions such as Kleavor by evolving into Scyther, Wyrdeer by evolving into Stantler, Sneasler by evolving into Hisui Sneasel, and Overquil by evolving into Hisui Qwilfish. There are a ton of new evolution methods, including some for Eevee evolutions. Take the time to complete Requests too, like The Sea’s Legend, Wurmple’s Evolved! and find Wisp locations. Don’t forget to track all Unown locations as well.

Netta will be delighted to see Finneon’s beauty up close, and fortunately, Finneon doesn’t seem to mind being out of the water too much.

Netta will promise to support the Survey Corps in their future work. More importantly, she will give you a star piece, which will go into your bag or your storage if the bag is full.
