Trapper locations can be found throughout the world of Red Dead Redemption 2, and the hunting-focused merchant appears in both a major city and a few locations in the wilderness.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Trapper Locations – Where is the Trapper?
The Trapper has several positions in the world of Red Dead Redemption 2, but the main one is in the game’s largest city, Saint Denis.
You’ll probably look for the Trapper after one of the main story missions, like Exit, pursued by a bruised ego, but you can go there much sooner if you want, as soon as the world opens up a little more significantly. at the beginning of Chapter 2.
You can travel, if you want to take the more scenic route, or take a train to Saint Denis from nearby towns like Valentine, which will indeed whisk you there for around $10. Once there, the Trapper is a short distance away.
Saint Denis Trapper Location
In Saint Denis, the Trapper is located in the open-air market, in the eastern part of the city, not far from the Lannaheche River waterfront.
Head northwest of the train station (which is also next to the fast travel stand if you arrived by stagecoach) and you’ll soon see the icon on your map.
The icon is a footprint, suitable enough for a fur trader, and you can set a waypoint if it makes navigating the bustling city a little easier.
Otherwise, the Trapper has several other posts in the desert.
Strawberry Desert Trapper Location
The first other Trapper location we found is just west of Strawberry, or a medium length drive southwest of Valentine.
It has a tent, a stand, and a campfire that you can use right at the top of a medium-sized hill. We had to fight some wolves with a mini pop-up mission that appeared as we got closer, and these really scared the seller himself. he was there for a few minutes before returning, so keep that in mind!
Otherwise, this location operates in the same way as the main Trappers store in Saint Denis.

What is the Trapper for in Red Dead Redemption 2?
The Trapper is a fur trader in Red Dead Redemption 2 and buys any hunting or wild animal related goods, such as furs or raw meat, from you for a fairly small price.
Most importantly, though, it has a ton of items for sale, most of which are apparently just cosmetics, but that doesn’t mean they’re not good, if you’re into that sort of thing.

All of the outfits and clothing you have for sale have “recipes,” so to speak, that require certain types of skin and ingredients to make them, as well as your own money.
