Red Dead Redemption 2 Dreamcatcher Locations – How and Where to Find All Dreamcatchers

One tip worth following when using this page, before we dive in, is to navigate to the locations shown on the map and then once you activate dead eye and look between the trees, the Dreamcatcher’s location should be highlighted clearly. on your map.

Dreamcatcher 1 Location

To get to the first Dreamcatcher, set a waypoint under the letter E in “Valentine”, there you should see a dotted line, slightly west of the third point will be the first Dreamcatcher, you should be able to easily see it by highlighting it with Deadeye and recognize it by the stump you see ahead.

Dreamcatcher 2 Location

The second Dreamcatcher is relatively easy to find; You’ll want to set your waypoint just to the left of the junction at Caliban’s Seat, right near the camp in Valentine. The Dreamcatcher can be found on the western path facing north. Once you get there, use Deadeye to find this second Dreamcatcher. There’s also a Stranger quest conveniently nearby, so you can also do it immediately after finding it.

Dreamcatcher 3 Location

The third Dreamcatcher can be found on the south bank of the Dakota River, and can be found just south of the Legendary Fish location, as you travel south along the bank you will see a ledge facing the river, use Deadeye on the location we have. Identified and you can find the next dream catcher at the top of the ridge.

Dreamcatcher 4 Location

Just east of the E in “New” of New Hanover on your map will be the location of the next Dreamcatcher, you should be able to find it fairly easily by going a little west of the road. We’ve pinpointed the location below, if you’re having trouble finding it, as you look north you’ll find it in the middle of a slightly hidden group of trees, use Deadeye to locate it and your controller will vibrate when you’re close.

Dreamcatcher 5 Location

This next Dreamcatcher can be found just east of Valentine. North of where Citadel Rock is marked on your map there will be 3 paths, the first will be smaller, the second will be larger and the third will be smaller. Go between the second and third roads to find this Dreamcatcher, which will be right on top of a bench next to a railroad. We’ve identified it in our screenshots, it’s pretty hard to miss, if you’re having trouble just use Deadeye to locate it and highlight it.

Dreamcatcher 6 Location

Dreamcatcher 6 is one of the easiest to find, on your map head to the top left of the “N” in Heartlands and you will find a single leafless tree, with a Dreamcatcher hanging from it. If you approach from the north, the Dreamcatcher may be on a bank on the horizon, just walk over it and it will be incredibly difficult to miss.

Dreamcatcher 7 Location

South of Heartland Overflow and north of Emerald Ranch is the next Dreamcatcher, it will be next to a thick tree and just below a slight ridge, this is another simple find and can be acquired with little to no problem, if you return to Having trouble searching for this one, just use Deadeye to locate it and you shouldn’t have any problems.

Dreamcatcher 8 Location

Located on the inner ring of the “O” in New Hanover, this is actually a trickier dream catcher to find. Due to the number of trees in this location you need to head a little further east of the inner ring of the “O”, use Deadeye to find the tree and when your controller rumbles you will be right next to the Dreamcatcher.

Dreamcatcher 9 Location

Slightly west of Aberdeen Pig Farm, south of Emerald Station, you will find this dreamcatcher next to some smaller trees and bushes. It can be difficult to spot and easy to wander around in this area, so be sure to use the marked locations. which we have highlighted on the map and use Deadeye to find the Dreamcatcher reliably.

Dreamcatcher Location 10

Just north of Lonnie’s Shack, this Dreamcatcher is another one that’s a little hard to find. This one is hidden in bushes and you’ll have to head northwest out of the way of the “L” at Lonnie’s Shack to find it. Don’t be afraid to walk through the bushes to find this dream catcher. Use the usual Deadeye methods near the point we have highlighted on the map.

Dreamcatcher 11 Location

This Dreamcatcher is located just north of Bluewater Marsh, next to a junction heading northwest. Here a little south of the road will be the next Dreamcatcher, this is another easier spot and shouldn’t be too hard to find.

Dreamcatcher 12 Location

This Dreamcatcher is difficult to find, but stick to the location marked on the map and you’ll find it just south of the Elysian Pool. However, don’t do like us and try to find it at night, as crowded trees and bushes should not be a problem if the light helps you find this dream catcher.

Dreamcatcher 13 Location

Dreamcatcher 13 is one of the hardest to spot, simply because of the way the Dreamcatcher is placed on the tree. Since it’s a forested area, you’ll want to follow the map locations here to a T; otherwise, you may find yourself wandering just off the east trail between Annesburg and Elysian Pool.

Dreamcatcher 14 Location

Dreamcatcher 14 can be difficult to find if you don’t know where to look, however, it is located under the “U” in Annesburg, on a hill overlooking the Lannachee River. It’s at the top of a ridge, which means you may have to climb a bit to find it, but once you’re at the top, the Dreamcatcher should be there.

Dreamcatcher 15 Location

This Dreamcatcher is located at the tip of the second “N” in Annesburg on your map. It should be relatively easy to get there and find this Dreamcatcher, which is isolated from other trees, meaning you should be able to find it relatively easily if you rely on the noise of your controller.

Dreamcatcher 16 Location

This dream catcher can be easily found heading north through Annesburg and is located just west between the highway and the river. Because this area is heavily wooded, rely on the noise of your controller in this location to determine the location of this dream catcher.

Dreamcatcher 17 Location

This Dreamcatcher is stuck in the middle of some pretty treacherous territory, we recommend that you head northwest through Annesburg to reach this location, and on the path near The Loft on your map should be the Dreamcatcher waiting for you. This one is easy to spot, but difficult to access, so be prepared to put in some effort.

Dreamcatcher 18 Location

This Dreamcatcher is relatively easy to get if you know where to go. Just west of the Bacchus Bridge, between the railroad crossings to the Wapiti Indian Reserve, will be this Dream Catcher on the ridge, it’s pretty easy to find, you just need to follow our marked map.

Dreamcatcher 19 Location

If you head up the mountain trail past Bacchus Bridge and southwest of Widow Rock, you should find this next Dreamcatcher, which is located on a ridge overlooking the Dakota River, we’ve conveniently identified it on the map, which means that as long as you follow the mountain pass near Dakota, you shouldn’t encounter any problems.

Dreamcatcher Location 20

The last Dreamcatcher is in the northeast of the cattail pond. You will have to follow the path east and up a hill to reach a forested ridge with this Dreamcatcher, use Deadeye to select it and you will finally have the last Dreamcatcher.

Dreamcatcher Collectible Reward

The reward for getting the Dream Catchers is going to a cave hidden behind a waterfall in the Elysian Pond, where the book that Arthur managed to sketch leads. Here you will find a cave painting, examine the eye of it to obtain an arrowhead that increases your stamina while using a bow twice as much.

We have more information on Elysian Pool (and the other very important reward hidden there) in our Poison Path treasure map guide. Otherwise, simply head to the pond we mentioned in Dreamcatcher 12 location, walk through the waterfall, and follow the straight path through the cave to the large room with the light crack in the upper back corner. Go up towards that light and the cave painting is just below, on the right side.
