Finding the door code in the Earth and Sky mission in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is part of the second main story mission of the DLC. You will need to unlock the control room door in order to progress in this mission.
Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores sees Aloy teaming up with a new friend to discover how to track down a dangerous new enemy. This mission takes you to a facility where your path is blocked by a locked door, and of course it will take some digging to find the code to open it.
We’re here to show you how to find the door code in the Land and Sky quest in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores.

How to find the door code in the Earth and Sky mission in Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores
To find the door code, you must first return to the control room where Seyka is. Next, you need to interact with the primary control panel that we have marked in the image below. You can also find it by scanning the room with your Focus; A diamond should appear on the panel.
Once you do this, you will have access to the first Registry. This is the key to finding the first digit of the gate’s four-digit code, as it tells you that the code is hidden in the other records of the asteroid holograms.
Use your focus to scan the large hologram of Earth in the middle of the control room. You should see several different years appear below the hologram. You will need to navigate through the years using your Focus and the controls indicated on your screen.
One control will increase the year, the other control will reduce the year. You will need to navigate through the years to find the correct number using the clues given in the records.
You need to find the digits in order. We have guided you to discover the number itself using each record.
How to find the first digit of the door code
In fact, in the first record you are told the year to look for, which is 2050. Use your focus to navigate to 2050 and then look around the world hologram to find the asteroid around you.
Scan the asteroid with your Focus to bring up an information panel. There are several numbers included in the information on this panel, but the one you want is the Flight Number.
When you’re ready, scan the hologram with your Focus again to bring up navigation options in the middle of the screen. Then use the command to ask Seyka for the following record.

How to find the second digit of the door code
The following record does not provide the year, but does provide a clue to the number, which is the amount of platinum included in the description. The year you must navigate to is 2054.
Scan the asteroid with your Focus to bring up an information panel. Once Aloy tells Seyka that he knows the number, you can move on.
When you’re ready, scan the hologram with your Focus again to bring up navigation options in the middle of the screen. Then use the command to ask Seyka for the following record.
How to find the third digit of the door code
The following record does not give the year, but contains a vague clue. The clue tells you that the number is the number of miners who died. To find this number, navigate to 2061.
Scan the asteroid with your Focus to bring up an information panel. Once Aloy tells Seyka that she knows the number, you can move on again.
When you’re ready, scan the hologram with your Focus again to bring up navigation options in the middle of the screen. Then use the command to ask Seyka for the following record.
How to find the fourth digit of the door code
The fourth and final clue to finding the last digit is that you need to look for an entry that mentions ‘Xiaolu Lunar Resources’. This last digit of the gate code is the number of years it may take to remove all of the cobalt. To find this, navigate to 2056.
Scan the asteroid with your Focus to bring up an information panel. Once Aloy tells Seyka that he knows the number, you can move on.
After calculating the individual numbers, the gate code in the Heaven and Earth mission is 3285.
Now you can return to the closed door and enter the code on the panel on the right. If you enter the code in the correct order, the door will open.
