Red Dead Redemption 2 Dinosaur Bone locations

As mentioned in the introduction, not all of them can be found immediately. Some have to wait until you find a certain location later in the game; If you’re wary of spoilers, those are the last eight locations on this page.

1. Heartlands Cliff Face Dinosaur Bone Location

This one is a little tricky to find. First, head to Caliban’s Seat, then take the road to the southwest that runs along the Dakota River, on a ridge in the road, head towards a cliff, then use Deadeye to explore the rock wall where this bone can be found dinosaur .

2. Heartlands Northern Boundary Dinosaur Bone Location

3. Grizzlies Rock Wall Dinosaur Bone Location

This bone can be found fairly quickly and is easy to find on the north side of the Dakota River from Valentine, a little to the left of the path is a small outcrop. Use deadeye here to see the bright location of the bone.

4. Dinosaur bone location overlooking six points of the Cumberland Forest

This bone is located at the top of the southeast edge of Six Point Overlook. You’ll have to go through some brambles, but once there, the bone is easy to see, as clear as day. 5. Grizzlies Dakota River Ledge Dinosaur Bone Location

Just northwest of Fort Wallace, across the river, head to the high ledge, approaching from Cotorra Springs, and you should be able to reach the next dinosaur bone location, where you will need to jump. To get to the bone, if you are unsure of the exact location, use the dead eye to locate it.

6. Cumberland Forest Baccus Station Dinosaur Bone Location

This bone is a little tricky to find if you don’t know how to approach it, head to Frot Wallace, approaching from the north of the Dakota River, then head uphill until you reach a ridge near Bacchus Station. Next to a rock with spikes will be the dinosaur bone.

7. Grizzlies Calumet Ravine Dinosaur Bone Location

This bone is fairly easy to find and is not far from the path north on the east side of Donner Falls, located on the edge of the Ambarino “I”. Go up the hill out of the way and look to the right, behind some rocks to find this dinosaur bone.

8. Grizzlies O’Creagh Run Misses Dinosaur Bone Location

This is a tricky place to get through, as you’ll find yourself running along the top of the Grizzlies’ mountain ridges. Heading S in the “East” of Grizzlies East, keep waltzing along the mountaintops and you’ll eventually find the bone stuck in the ground.

9. Grizzlies Northern Boundary Dinosaur Bone Location

If you follow the northern road in Grizzlies East on your map you will eventually reach a forest of flowers, head south and up a hill (be careful as wolves can lay their eggs here) and you will find the bone in plain sight on the surrounded hill of flowers, beautiful.

10. Dinosaur Bone Location Overlooking Roanoke Ridge

12. Kamassa River Dinosaur Bone Location on Roanoke Ridge

To find this one you need to head east from Flatneck Station and follow the railroad between it and Old Greenbank Mill, head slightly north while you’re in the middle of the railroad and you should find the Grassy Hill Bone on a covered hill of grass. Quite explanatory.

16. Heartlands Southern Gorge Dinosaur Bone Location

19. Heartlands Abandoned Hut Dinosaur Bone Location

To find this one, head just north of the “O” in New Hanover, and you will find an abandoned shack, look south and use Eagle Eye to pinpoint the location of the next dinosaur bone location.

20. Big Valley North Cave Dinosaur Bone Location

This is one that is harder to spot than anything else, take the road north from Wallace Station and turn left to the end of a slope of hills, with a ridge on the left and two rocks joined with a entrance in the middle, head inside the cave to find the location of this bone.

21. Big Valley Rock Slope Dinosaur Bone Location

This is a pretty easy bone to spot. Just next to the “W” in West Elizabeth, there will be a rocky slope that you can navigate on horseback, while near the top, look down and use your dead eye to see the dinosaur’s spine twisted in front of you .

22. Big Valley Beryl Dream Dinosaur Bone Location

This one is pretty easy to find, near Mount Shann you will find a path with a wavy “S”, at the top of this path use Eagle Eye and you can find this dinosaur bone.

23. Gaptooth Ridge South Tumbleweed Bone Location

This one is pretty easy to find, just south of the “L” in Tumbleweed on your map there will be a ridge overlooking the plain, at the top of this ridge facing south there will be a skeletal ribcage sticking out of the ground.

24. Gaptooth Ridge North Tumbleweed Bone Location
