Zacain, the legendary Pokémon from Pokémon Sword, explained
Zacain is the legendary Pokémon exclusive to Pokémon Sword.
In its weakened state, Zacain is a Fairy-type Pokémon, but when it holds the Rusty Sword, which you find in the Slumbering Weald, it will turn into a Fairy and Steel-type Pokémon.
This rusty sword becomes the elegant blade he holds in his mouth.
Categorized as a Warrior Pokémon, Zacain has the Intrepid Sword ability, which gives a boost to its attack at the start of a battle.
Zacain is a Pokémon that is dedicated to attacking its enemies; using moves that have enough strength to quickly and easily knock out his opponents. This makes it ideal for trainers who prefer to focus on powerful moves or interesting dual-type Pokémon.
One of Zacain’s Pokédex entries supports his image as a fierce warrior, who prefers the offensive, describing it as:

While Zacain comes to your aid in the battle with Eternatus, you won’t be able to catch him until the end of the game in Pokémon Sword.

Zamazenta is the legendary Pokémon exclusive to Pokémon Shield.
At first, Zamazenta will appear to be a Fighting-type Pokémon, which grants it the Rusted Shield, which you will find in Slumbering Weald, however, it will transform into a Fighting and Steel-type Pokémon.
Unlike Zacian, who focuses on attack, Zamazenta is a being that prefers defensive tactics; the Rusted Shield merging with his body.

What other legendaries are there in Pokémon Sword and Shield?
With the announcement of the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass also came news of three new Gen 8 Legendary Pokémon.
In The Isle of Armor, you will receive Kubfu, the legendary fighting-type Pokémon. With careful training, you can turn him into Urshifu. However, what makes this evolution unique is that Kubfu can evolve into different Urshifu styles: single hit style and quick hit style.
Urshifu styles are differentiated by both their type and the stats they focus on. Single Attack Style Urshifu is a dark and fighting type Pokémon, best suited for trainers who prefer offensive strategies. Meanwhile, Quick Strike-style Urshifu is a defense-focused Pokémon, which is a dual-fighting, water-type Pokémon.

The Crown Tundra DLC also includes the introduction of two new legendary Pokémon to the Regi family: Regieleki and Regidrago.
Regieleki is an Electric-type Pokémon that was forced to wear insulating gear by the ancient inhabitants of Galar. It is believed that this team was forced to restrain and torment Regieleki.
Regidrago is, as its name suggests, a dragon-type Pokémon, which is made up of crystals that Regigigas filled with dragon energy.
