Scyther can evolve into two different Pokémon, depending on which evolution item you use, in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
The first is, of course, Scizor, the Bug and Steel-type Pokémon introduced in Gen 2. The second, however, is Kleavor, which debuted in Legends: Arceus.

Scyther locations in Pokémon Legends: Arceus explained
Scyther, in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, can be found in two different locations in two biomes.
You’ll most likely first encounter Scyther in Obsidian Fieldlands’ Grandtree Arena, which is where you fight Noble Kleavour. Scyther can also be found in Coronet Highlands in Primeval Grotto.

Scyther appears in both locations regardless of the day or weather, so you should have no problem finding one.
How to evolve Scyther into Kleavor in Pokémon Legends: Arceus explained
To turn Scyther into Kleavor, a bug and rock type, in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you need a Black Augurite.
This evolution item can be quite difficult to find, so visit our Black Augurite location guide if you haven’t found one yet.
Once you have a Black Augurite, all you have to do is select the item in your inventory and use it on the Scyther you want to evolve. It will then transform into your new Kleavor!

How to evolve Scyther into Scizor in Pokémon Legends: Arceus explained
If you want to turn Scyther into Scizor, a steel-type insect Pokémon, in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you’ll need a metal cape.
Metal Coats can be purchased at the trading post for 1000 merit points or you can receive one by capturing a Scizor in the wild.
Scizors only appear in the space-time warps that occur on Alabaster Icelands, and you may find one with higher effort levels than the Scyther you want to evolve.
Once you’ve obtained a Metal Coat, select it from your inventory and then use it on a Scyther to evolve it. Now you can enjoy exploring the Hisui region with your new Scizor!
