Stickers are small additions to the gifts you can send to your friends in Pokémon Go.
Adding a sticker gives the gift tag that your friend sees when they open the gift a little, Pokémon themed, establishment.
However, stickers are not found by spinning PokéStops like most other items in Pokémon Go and have fairly limited use.

What do stickers do in Pokémon Go?
Stickers are little cosmetic extras you can add to a gift you send to a friend in Pokémon Go.
When that friend receives the gift, they will be able to see the sticker, along with the photo of the PokéStop where you picked up the gift.
Currently, stickers have no other purpose: they simply exist to add a special touch to your gifts and to waste PokéCoins.
How to use stickers in Pokémon Go
If you want to use a sticker in Pokémon, you first need to find a friend to send a gift to, which you can easily do by quickly searching your Friends List.
Once you’ve found a friend without a gift, begin the process of sending them a gift, but before you finally send it, you’ll see a new button called “Add Tag” above the “Send” option.
Selecting this button will allow you to place one of your stickers on the gift, or if you don’t have any, you can press the store button to send you to the dedicated stickers section of the in-game Pokémon Go store.
If you change your mind about which tag you want to attach or even if you want to include one, you can press the tag button again, which will have changed to “Change Tag.”
Stickers can be added to gifts.
The sticker will appear in the upper right corner of the gift tag.
When you’ve chosen your sticker, simply send the gift and your friend can enjoy looking at the sticker you attached.

How to get stickers in Pokémon Go
There are two ways to get stickers in Pokémon Go.
The first is by opening the gifts that your friends send you in Pokémon Go. However, whether or not you receive a sticker when opening a gift is random, so be prepared to open a lot of gifts.
The second, and easiest, way to get stickers in Pokémon Go is to buy them from the in-game store.
This in-game store can be accessed from the main menu or from the sticker selection menu.
There will be a selection of three different sticker packs on sale in the store at any one time, which can only be purchased using PokéCoins, Pokémon Go’s in-game currency.
For each sticker pack, there are two possible purchase options:
- 10 stickers for 35 PokéCoins
- 30 stickers for 80 PokéCoins
Stickers can be purchased using PokéCoins.
It should be noted that the stickers are, at the moment, just a small cosmetic item for gifts, so you’d better save your PokéCoins and try to find them by opening the gifts.
