The Pokémon TCG Crossover event celebrates the release of the Pokémon Go themed card expansion card.

In Pokémon Go, however, it’s less about cards and more about collection challenges. Many collection challenges.

Three additional collection challenges have now been added to the event: the Bulbasaur 2 Collection Challenge, the Charmander 2 Collection Challenge, and the Squirtle 2 Collection Challenge! If you want to add them all to your Elite Collectors medal, be sure to complete them before the event ends.

In addition to these challenges, there is also a collection of Pokémon TCG crossover field research tasks and the release of Wimpod and Golisopod in Pokémon Go.

The Bulbasaur Collection Challenge 1 is one of many collection challenges released as part of the Pokémon TCG Crossover event in Pokémon Go.

The Advanced Collection Challenge is a Collection Challenge launched as part of the Pokémon TCG Crossover event in Pokémon Go.

This collection challenge is available until 8 pm (local time) on Thursday, June 30, and if you miss this deadline, you will not be able to earn your rewards.

Completing this challenge will net you 10,000 XP and an encounter with Meltan.

The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! The Out to Play event is currently taking place. You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, complete routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.

Solrock and Lunatone explained in the Pokémon TCG Crossover event

Solrock and Lunatone are typically regionally exclusive Pokémon in Pokémon Go, but since they appear in the Pokémon Go card expansion, they will appear worldwide for the duration of the Pokémon TCG Crossover event.

Once the event is over, the regions will also change to the following:

Lunatone – Western Hemisphere
Solrock – Eastern Hemisphere

Pokémon TCG Cross-Field Research Tasks in Pokémon Go

Spinning PokéStops during the Pokémon TCG Crossover event in Pokémon Go can lead you to collecting an event-exclusive Field Research task. These tasks are only available during the event and can be saved to your Field Research Collection.

However, we highly recommend completing these Field Research tasks during the event, as some of the Pokémon rewards will help you complete the collection challenges.

These are the Pokémon TCG Crossover field research tasks:

Reward for capturing 10 Pokémon: x5 Pinap Berries or x3 Razz Berries
Reward for capturing 15 Pokémon: encounter with Ivysaur, Charmeleon or Wartortle
Reward for capturing 25 Pokémon: encounter with Venusaur, Charizard or Blastoise
Reward for capturing 40 Pokémon: encounter with Snorlax, Dragonite or Slaking
Transfer 10 Pokémon rewards: x5 Poké Balls
Spin 5 rewards from PokéStops or Gyms: encounter with Wimpod

Everything you need to know about the Pokémon TCG Crossover event in Pokémon Go

The Pokémon TCG Crossover event sees the release of Wimpod and Golisopod, its evolution, in Pokémon Go. These insect and water type Pokémon come from Generation 7 of the Alola region.

There’s also a new Pokémon costume in the form of the Pokémon TCG Pikachu Hat. Maybe you’ll get lucky and find a shiny version of this special Pokémon…

On the topic of shiny Pokémon: Shiny Meltan is back!

If you want to try to find the shiny Meltan, you’ll need to transfer a Pokémon to Pokémon Home, Let’s Go, Pikachu. o Let’s go, Eevee! After doing so, you will be able to open the Mystery Box and meet Meltan for half an hour. Fortunately, the Mystery Box reset time has been reduced for this event.

To celebrate the new Pokémon Go expansion for the Pokémon TCG, a host of Pokémon that appear on the cards themselves will appear in the wild more frequently during the event:

In raids, you can expect to see Chansey, Larvitar, Timburr, and Wimpod, all in one-star raids. Meanwhile, Alolan Exeggutor, Snorlax, Dragonite, and Slaking are in three-star raids.

Best of all, Mewtwo has returned to five-star raids and depending on when you catch him, they’ll have a different charged attack. From Thursday, June 16 to Thursday, June 23 at 10 a.m. (local time), he will be introduced to Shadow Ball, a ghost-type charged attack.

This will change to Psystrike, a psychic-type charged attack, from Thursday, June 23 to Friday, July 1 at 10 a.m. (local time).

Finally, all Mega Evolutions for Kanto starters, including Mega Charizard X and Y, will be available in Mega Raids throughout the event, making it the perfect time to collect your Mega Energy.
