The Ocean Beach Collection Challenge is part of the Go Fest 2021 celebrations in Pokémon Go.

The Ocean Beach Collection Challenge is part of Go Fest 2021 and will only be available until Sunday, July 18 at 6 pm (local time). Additionally, it will only be available to players who have purchased a ticket for this event.
During this challenge, you must hunt down the Pokémon that specifically appear most frequently in the Ocean Beach habitat time.
Here are the 10 Pokémon on the Ocean Beach Collection Challenge roster:
- Magikarp
- Marill
- Chinchú
- swablu
- Carvanha
- wailmer
- Feebas
- eardrum
- tinamo
- Alomomola
All of these Pokémon will appear more frequently during the Ocean Beach habitat hour.
For completing this challenge, you will receive 1000 Stardust, 20 Ultra Balls, and 1 Incense.
Tips for completing the Ocean Beach Collection challenge in Pokémon Go
Here are some tips to help you complete the Ocean Beach Collection challenge in Pokémon Go:
- The best time to complete this collection challenge is during Ocean Beach Habitat Hour.
- Don’t forget: this collection challenge will only be available until Sunday, July 18 at 6 pm (local time). If you don’t complete it by this deadline, you will lose your opportunity forever!
- Placing a Lure Module at a PokéStop will attract Pokémon to this area, and special Lure Modules (Rainy, Icy, Magnetic, and Mossy) will attract specific types of Pokémon.
- Use Razz and Nanab Berries to make it easier to catch Pokémon.
- It’s a good idea to target Pokémon with low CP levels to save yourself some PokéBalls.
- Use the Pokémon Radar in the bottom right corner of your screen to keep track of Pokémon in your surrounding area.

Using an incense during the Ocean Beach habitat hour in Pokémon Go will cause a specific set of Pokémon to appear, which you wouldn’t be able to find otherwise.
It is important to note that these Pokémon can only be found by players who have purchased a ticket to Go Fest 2021.

How the Ocean Beach Collection challenge works in Pokémon Go
Collection challenges in Pokémon Go, which first launched in January 2021, run in conjunction with certain in-game events. Each collection challenge tasks you with finding a specific number of Pokémon through a variety of means.
Once you have completed the Collection, you will be rewarded with a number of items and progress towards your Elite Collector medal.
The Ocean Beach Collection Challenge is part of Go Fest 2021 and will be available until Sunday, July 18 at 6 pm (local time).
Collection challenges are found in ‘Today’s View’, accessed by pressing the field research button (the little binoculars) in the bottom right corner of the screen.
After accessing the “Today View”, you will find the list of Pokémon needed for the collection challenge. Once you’ve found one of these Pokémon, it will be marked on the Collection Challenge rooster, helping you keep track of which ones you’ve caught and which ones you haven’t.
Pokémon will be removed from the collection challenge list as you catch them.
Remember: the collection challenge must be completed before the associated event ends and disappears forever.
