Tips on How to Complete Masterpiece Research: Wish Granted in Pokémon Go

Here are some tips to help you complete the Masterpiece Research: Wish Granted:

  • Since you’ll be catching a lot of Pokémon for Wish Granted Step 1, be sure to use your Daily Adventure Incense, Lure Modules, and Incense to find a wide range of Pokémon from the first three generations.
  • If you’re having trouble getting the Hoenn Gold Medal, try trading your missing Gen 3 Pokémon with other players, and use Remote Raid Passes to get any legendaries you may be missing when they appear in raids.

How Masterwork Research: Wish Granted works in Pokémon Go

Masterwork Research: Wish Granted is the third Masterwork Research quest to be released in Pokémon Go and offers you a chance to catch a Shiny Jirachi.

Like the previous Masterwork Research missions, All-in-One #151 and Apex, it is a paid mission. However, unlike these missions, you only need to purchase a ticket for the mission itself and not for a Go Tour event, which, in 2023, will be free for all players.

Tickets for Masterwork Research: Wish Granted cost £4.99, $4.99 or the equivalent price in your local region. These tickets are non-refundable and cannot be purchased with PokéCoin.

Tickets will also be on sale until Monday, March 20 at the following times:

  • United Kingdom – 17:00 (GMT)
  • Europe – 18:00 (CET)
  • US East Coast – 1:00 p.m. (EDT)
  • US West Coast: 10am (PST)

The Wish Granted quest can be purchased by selecting the Jirachi banner in the in-game store.

Once you have purchased a ticket, you will be granted access to the Masterwork Research quest and you can complete it at your own pace as it has no deadline.

It is important to note that players who attended the Go Tour: Hoenn Las Vegas event will have a different experience completing this research mission. This is because they will have to complete fewer quest steps to find the shiny Jirachi compared to other players.

Finally, while Masterwork Research missions are designed to take a fair amount of time to complete, progressing through one works exactly like a traditional Special Research mission. This means that you will still have to complete a series of challenges to earn the quest pass reward over and over again until you have finished the quest itself.

Good luck catching Shiny Jirachi!
