Pokémon Go Hisuian Pokémon forms list

Hisuian Pokémon, such as Hisuian Voltorb and Hisuian Electrode, can now be added to your Pokédex in Pokémon Go.

Hisuian Pokémon includes both Hisui variants for Pokémon from past generations as well as new evolutions for Pokémon like Scyther and Stantler.

Hisuian Voltorb was the first Hisui variant to be added to Pokémon Go, and its debut was part of the in-game celebration for the release of Pokémon Legends: Arceus for Nintendo Switch.

Hisuian Pokémon in Pokémon Go explained

Hisuian Pokémon, like the Alola and Galar Pokémon, are regional variants of Pokémon from past generations. This means that they differ both physically and statistically, including different types, from their original counterparts.

Hisuian Pokémon made their first appearance in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, where the player explores the Hisui region that, hundreds of years later, would become known as the Sinnoh region.

In Legends: Arceus, some of the Hisuian Pokémon can only be obtained by fulfilling a special requirement with a Pokémon from a past generation and then evolving it, such as evolving Stantler into Wyrdeer. Since only two Pokémon Hisuain have been released in Pokémon Go at the time of writing, we don’t know how these special requirements will translate to the mobile game.

In Pokémon Go, Hisuian Pokémon are a type of Forme Pokémon, just like Burmy has a different appearance depending on the location you find it in.

Fortunately, Hisuian Pokémon share the same sweets as their traditional counterparts. This means that if you have enough candy to turn a Kanto Voltorb into an Electrode, you can do the same with a Hisuian Voltorb.

Here are some of the Hisuian Pokémon that have been released in the game so far:

  • Hisuian Voltorb as part of the Hisui Region Voltorb? event in January 2022.
  • Hisuian Electrode as part of the Go Tour Poké Ball Prep Rally event in February 2022.
  • During the Hisuian Discoveries event in July 2022, the following Pokémon were released:
  • Hisuian Braviary as part of Hisuian Discoveries Raid Day on Sunday, July 31, 2022.
  • Ursaluna within the framework of Teddiursa Community Day during November 2022.
  • Hisuian Avalugg as part of the Raid Day event during the 2022 Winter Break in December 2022.
  • Kleavor as part of Kleavor Raid Day on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

If you’re missing a Hisuian Pokemon from your collection, keep an eye on the seasonal or event spawns, along with the 7km egg pool, to see if they’ve been included.

The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! Its first event is A Paldean Adventure, which sees the true launch of Gen 9 and the special research mission A Paldean Adventure. You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, complete routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.
