Steps of the ‘Find your voice’ mission in Pokémon Go
Below you can find each step of the mission and the reward for Finding Your Voice in Pokémon Go. Finding Your Voice does not have a deadline, since it is a special research mission, so feel free to complete it whenever you want.
However, it is important to note that ticket purchases for Go Fest 2021 will receive Meloetta candy, instead of a second Meloetta, for completing this investigation. If you already had a ticket for Go Fest 2021, but you haven’t seen Meloetta yet, we recommend visiting our The Melody Pokémon guide.

Tips for completing ‘Find Your Voice’ in Pokémon Go
Here is a selection of tips to help you complete Find Your Voice in Pokémon Go:
- The ‘Evolve 15 Pokémon’ challenge is the perfect time to use a Lucky Egg for extra XP!
- If you want to quickly earn candy by walking your friend, switch to a Pokémon that earns one candy for every mile you walk, like Pikachu or Skwovet.
- A great way to find new friends in Pokémon Go is to visit The Silph Road subreddit and search for friend codes.
- Keep an eye out for Team Go Rocket balloons for a quick battle against one of the organization’s grunts.
- Don’t forget: you can use Remote Raid Passes to compete in any raid from the comfort of your home, and your friends can invite you to raids too!
- If you’re having trouble finding 30 different species of Pokémon, try using a Lure Module at a PokéStop to attract different creatures to your location.
How Meloetta’s ‘Find Your Voice’ Mission Works in Pokémon Go
Research missions, which are tasks that players can complete to earn a variety of rewards, were launched in March 2018 and are divided into several categories, such as field and timed.
Finding Your Voice is a special research mission launched on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, and since it has no deadline, you can complete it at your own pace. It is also the seventh in Pokémon Go’s series of Mythical Pokémon special research quests, the others being for Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Victini, Hoopa, and Meltan.
Finding Your Voice is divided into six steps and, for each step, three separate challenges that must be completed to progress. You will be rewarded for each individual challenge and overall quest step you complete, with the main reward being the mythical Meloetta.
However, players who purchased a ticket for Go Fest 2021 will receive candy from Meloetta, because they will have access to or have already completed Meloetta’s first special research quest: The Melody Pokémon.
The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! The Detective Pikachu Returns event is currently underway. You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, complete routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.
How Meloetta First Debuted in Pokémon Go
Meloetta was originally released as part of the Go Fest 2021 celebrations and the ticket could catch the Mythical Pokémon by completing The Melody Pokémon special research quest, which launched on Saturday, July 17, day one of the event.
To obtain Meloetta, players had to complete Stage Ten of the quest, and along the way, they were given the option to choose between Pikachu Rock Star or Pikachu Pop Star, a Galarian Ponyta or Galarian Zigzagoon with Meloetta’s hat, and a Flygon o Gardevoir with Meloetta’s hat.
In keeping with the Go Fest 2021 theme song, the mission concluded with the player’s chosen Pokémon and Meloetta performing as the band.
The Meloetta Go Fest mission involved choosing from several costumed Pokémon.
This form of release follows the tradition of releasing a new Mythical Pokémon during Go Fest, and Celebi, Jirachi, and Victini were released in a similar manner at previous Go Fests.
