Pokémon Go at EGX 2022 has some bonuses that you can take advantage of while attending the event.
Multiple PokéStops will feature unique research tasks, each of which will reward you with various encounters, including multiple Unown forms.

How Pokémon Go EGX 2022 bonuses work
There are two bonuses taking place at EGX 2022 in London between Thursday, September 22 and Sunday, September 25:
- Six-hour long lure modules.
- Field research tasks with Joltik, Porygon and Unown (letters E, G, X) find rewards.

These bonuses are based on various ‘EGX London’ PokéStops in the Excel conference center where the show takes place and look like the following:
There are about 12 PokéStops and two gyms throughout the EGX room, with a cluster around queue room S8 and a few more at the end of the center hallway near the east entrance.
This means that you have to be physically at the event to participate in the bonuses; They will not be linked to your ticket or account unlike Niantic’s own events.
These bonuses will be active until Sunday, September 25 at 8 p.m.
The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! The Psychic Spectular event is back! You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, complete routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.
Pokémon Go EGX Field Research Tasks 2022
These are the EGX 2022 field research tasks in Pokémon Go:
- Trade a Pokémon: encounter with Joltik
- Earn candy by walking with your friend – Encounter with Porygon
- Send 5 gifts to friends: meet one of your own (E, G or X)
You can also find ‘sponsored’ purple posts with rewards from Stardust and Rare Candy.
Remember, the Field Research above can only be found at unique EGX-themed PokéStops found in Excel during the EGX 2022 London weekend.
While we have no idea if this giant Pokémon logo is related to EGX, you’ll find a handful of PokéStops here on the east side of the lobby entrance.
As with all field research, it is not necessary to complete it that day. As long as you have the tasks in your possession, they do not expire until they are completed.
Useful if you forget to turn until the last minute and want to finish them later.
