April Fools’ 2-Oh?-22 is a special research mission celebrating April Fools’ Day in Pokémon Go.
Throughout this event, Ditto will disguise himself more frequently in the wild, and if you play Pokémon Go before 11:59 pm (local time) on Friday, April 1, you will unlock the special research quest: April Fools’ 2 -Oh. ?-22.

Steps of the mission ‘April Fools’ 2-Oh?-22′ in Pokémon Go
If you want to unlock April Fool’s Special Research Mission 2-Oh?-22 in Pokémon Go, you must play before 11:59 pm (local time) on Friday, April 1. Once you have unlocked this special research mission, you will be able to complete it at your own pace.
However, we recommend finishing it by April Fool’s Day 2022, because some of the challenges will be easier to complete.

- Catch 10 Pokémon – 15 Big Balls
- Catch 3 of the Transformed Pokémon: 5 Super Potions
- Transfer 10 Pokémon – 5 pineapple berries

The Season of Adventure Abundance is here! The Out to Play event is currently taking place. You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball mission and compete in Go Battle League. Be sure to compete in Shadow Raids, complete routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.
Tips on how to complete April Fools’ 2-Oh?-22 in Pokémon Go
Here are some tips to help you complete the April Fool’s Day 2-Oh?-22 special research in Pokémon Go:
- ‘Catch 3 of the Transformed Pokémon’ means catching three Dittos. Because of this, we highly recommend completing this special research quest before the end of April Fool’s Day, because Ditto will appear more frequently during this event. - If you’re having trouble finding Pokémon, try using an Incense to make them appear at your current location.
- It’s easier to get good throws by targeting Pokémon with large catch radii.
