Diancie is one of the legendary Pokémon that you can photograph in New Pokémon Snap.
If you want to add this Pokémon to your photo collection, you need to know Diancie’s location and exactly how to summon it.
Once you’ve accomplished this, you’ll also be able to complete three LenTalk requests: Gem Royalty, Look My Way, and Myth of the Cave.

Diancie’s Location Request in New Pokémon Snap Explained
In fact, there are two ways to summon Diancie in New Pokémon Snap.
However, both methods require you to have unlocked Research Level 3 for the cave course, so make sure you’ve achieved that first.
New Pokémon Snap: How to Summon Diancie
Method one
To summon Diancie using this method, you must first take the alternate route which will take you to the cave containing the giant crystals.
Head to this next area.
When the Neo-One takes you to this room, you will be able to see two Carbink and a Mawile on the floor below you.
Now, you must hit each of these three Pokémon with an Illumina Orb to make them dance.
Diancie will now appear directly on her right side and you will be able to take several photos. The appearance of this legendary will also unlock an alternate route located next to nearby Mawile.
Method two
If you want to try the second method of summoning Diancie, you still need to take the alternate route to the giant crystal cave and continue, without detouring, towards the garden area.
Head to this location.
As you descend into this new room, you will be able to see four Carbinks on the right side of this small area. If you have trouble seeing them, scan them to find out their exact location.
To summon Diancie, you must hit all four Carbinks with an Illumina Orb once to get them out onto the path. It’s a good idea to hit the nearby Crystabloom, as this should hopefully give the Illumina effect to at least one Carbink.
Once all four have emerged from behind the ruins, use the Melody Player and Diancie will appear on your right side.
LenTalk Request for Gem Royalties in New Pokémon Snap Explained
The Gem Royatly LenTalk request in New Pokémon Snap can be quite difficult to complete due to the number of steps you need to complete in a short period of time.
New Pokémon Snap: How to Complete the Gem Royalty LenTalk Request
First, you need to head towards the small garden area at the end of the alternate route through the cave course. Upon entering this area, you will be able to see a rock directly in front of the rock, with another behind it.
You must cast Illumina Orbs on this rock, until an archipelago-patterned Vivillon flies out. This is very much a blind shot and may require several practices to achieve.
Launch the Illumina Orbs in this direction.
Once this Vivillon has appeared, you must quickly hit the four Carbinks with Illumina Orbs and use the Melody Player to summon Diancie.
Once Diancie has appeared, you’ll need to cast Illumina Orbs at her until Diancie creates a diamond, which Carbink will be happy to see.
To complete this request, you must capture an image of Carbink’s special dance, including Diance, after the appearance of this diamond.
Take the photo while the Carbinks dance.
Fortunately, the photo doesn’t have to be of excellent quality to count towards this challenge, but since it’s quite difficult to achieve before the course ends, we recommend using burst mode to ensure you get the photo.
Look My Way LenTalk Request Explained in New Pokémon Snap
While the LenTalk Look My Way request doesn’t involve taking a photo of Diancie in New Pokémon Snap, you do need to summon the legendary Pokémon to complete it.
To do so, you must use the first method to make Diancie appear in the cave containing the giant crystals.
Once Diancie has appeared, look for the Mawile standing on the rock near the entrance to the next cave. He is also the one who is usually very angry with your presence.
Throw a Fluffruit at this Mawile.
This time, however, Mawile has been calmed by Diancie’s presence, allowing her to throw a Fluffruit at her to eat. Now all you have to do is take a picture of him eating this fruit to complete the Look My Way application.
Take the photo while Mawile eats the Fluffruit.
For completing this request, you will receive the Rita’s Bag profile icon.
Cave Myth LenTalk Request Explained in New Pokémon Snap
If you want to complete the Cave Myth LenTalk request in New Pokémon Snap, you must follow the first method to summon Diancie.
Once Diancie has appeared, simply hit her with an Illumina Orb and take a photo of the pink glow she will create afterwards.
For completing this request, you will receive the Accessory 10 sticker, which looks like a pink Saturn.
