The MultiVersus closed alpha will be available this week, giving players the opportunity to try out the game before launch.
A multiplayer trial is available for those who registered. Those who enter the closed alpha can invite their friends, meaning there are many ways to enter.

MultiVersus Closed Alpha Release Time in UK/BST, CEST, EDT and PDT
The MultiVersus closed alpha will launch at 9am PDT on May 19. Below we list these times for each region.
- UK: 5pm (BST)
- Europe: 6:00 p.m. (CEST)
- US East Coast: 12 pm (EDT)
- US West Coast: 9am (PDT)
For those in the UK and Europe, this should be a good time to play in the evening. Those in North America will have access in the morning or afternoon. The closed alpha will run until 5 pm PDT on May 27.
How to register for the MultiVersus closed alpha
To sign up for the MultiVersus closed alpha, you’ll need to head over to the game’s official website. Registration will be valid until the game launches on May 19. Another way to get a code is to have another player send you one. More information about that process below.
How to invite family and friends
If you manage to get a code for the MultiVersus closed alpha, you can invite family and friends to try it out. Users can invite up to three friends to join the Closed Alpha. Simply log in to your WB Games account and do the following:
- Select “Beta Management” from the left menu.
- Click the “Invite a friend” button in the MultiVersus section
- Copy the full URL and send it privately to a friend

What’s included in the MultiVersus closed alpha?
Players participating in the MutliVersus closed alpha will be able to experience a variety of characters, maps, and modes in the closed alpha, including:
- Characters: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn (DC); Shaggy (Scooby Doo); Bugs Bunny (Looney Tunes); Arya Stark (Game of Thrones); Jake the dog and Finn the human (Adventure Time); Steven Universe and Garnet (Steven Universe); Tom Jerry; and an extraordinary original creature called Reindog. Please note that Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Arya Stark, Steven Universe, and Garnet will not be available initially, but can be unlocked over time through gameplay. All other characters will be available immediately when the closed alpha begins.
- Maps: The Batcave (DC), Tree Fort (Adventure Time), Scooby’s Haunted Mansion (Scooby-Doo), Trophy’s EDGE, Trophy’s EDGE 2, Classic Platform 3 and Training Room.
- Modes: 2v2 team co-op, 1v1 matches, 4-player free-for-all, and The Lab (practice mode) offer different ways to play and experience the game.
This is everything we know so far about the MultiVersus closed alpha release times. We haven’t seen much of the game yet, aside from a leak of the game earlier this year and the news that an open beta is coming in June 2022.
