Monster Hunter World Spring Blossom Festival - Spring Blossom tickets, Fireworks and event rewards explained

The Monster Hunter World Sprint Blossom Festival is the first seasonal event to be added to the game.

Taking place throughout the month of April, the event offers a series of limited-time activities, new armor and costumes to craft, Spring Blossom tickets to spend, and much more.

Elsewhere, our Monster Hunter World tips can help you decide when to farm, what to search for, and what to do between hunts, and our Monster Hunter World walkthrough and guide can help you with main quest and story progress.

The Spring Flower Festival and the Heavenly Search

The Spring Blossom Festival features new armor, rewards, quests, and other activities over the next two weeks.

Here’s everything you need to know about what it entails:

  • The Gathering Hub, also known as Celestial Pursuit, has been revamped with costumed vendors and a Poogie flower display in the center of town. To get there, you can travel by selecting Astera on the world map or by using an elevator on Astera itself.

  • Added Spring Flower and Fireworks Vouchers as new crafting items and consumables, respectively, earned by logging in daily and completing bounties (explained in more detail later in this article).
  • Almost all of the previously released event quests will be available again (we also detail which ones you should check out here a little later).
  • Lucky Vouchers, the game’s login bonus used to spend on meals and double quest rewards, will increase from one to two per day for the duration of the event.
  • There are limited daily rewards to complete, replacing weekly ones, giving you even more incentive to come back each day and play.

  • There is a special dish that you can eat during the event.
  • Vendors will host daily sales throughout the festival.
  • Both The Handler and Poogie have special outfits for the duration of the event, and they’re pretty cute:

Spring Blossom Tickets and Fireworks

Spring Blossom Tickets are a new crafting material arriving as part of the festivities and should be the central focus of your activities throughout the event. You can get them in two places:

  • Log in once a day
  • Completing daily rewards

Spring Blossom Tickets are primarily used to create new event-themed armor for your Hunter (Blossom) and Palico (Butterfly Set). The other components needed are pretty common: Carbalite Ore and Dragonvein Crystal respectively, so once you get the necessary tickets you’ll be all set.

3 tickets are needed to craft each piece of armor, so be sure to visit the Festival every day to get what you need before it ends. You only have two weeks!

Spring Blossom Tickets are also used to create additional Elder Melder Fireworks.

Fireworks are just a fun consumable – just place them on the ground during a mission and watch them progress, and you can also get them by logging in once a day and completing daily rewards.

What events should I focus on during the Spring Blossom Festival?

With almost all weekly events returning throughout the event, it’s a great time to catch up and get rewards for things you missed previously.

Below is a list of weekly events with unique items that you can only obtain by playing:

Event Human Resources Rank Details Prize
Egg lovers united eleven Hunt 3 Tzitzi-Ya-Ku Sunglasses
Down the dark and muddy road 3 Kill a Barroth Street Fighter Ryu armor
Egg lovers united eleven Hunt a Kulu-Ya-Ku Kulu-Ya-Ku Helmet
Every hunter’s dream 8 Hunt a Rathalos and Paolumu GS rocket gun
Lessons from the Wild (PS4 Exclusive) 8 Kill 8 Barnos Horizon Zero Dawn Palico Armor
The Test (PS4 Exclusive) eleven Hunt an Anjanath Horizon Zero Dawn Alloy Armor
Vespoid infestation! 4 Kill 30 Vespoids LR Butterfly Armor
move this to me eleven Deliver 10 Wigglers Wiggle Helmet

Thanks to the Monster Hunter subreddit for helping develop the above.

Obviously, there are many other valuable events: opportunities to fight elder dragons and tempered features, increased chances of obtaining giant and miniature crowns, better human resource ranks and voucher earnings, and more.

The link above has a full list available to suit what you need, although again, looking for those event-exclusive armor pieces should be a priority as they’re quite difficult to come by.

When does the Spring Flower Festival end?

The Spring Blossom Festival takes place between Friday, April 6 and Thursday, April 19, beginning and ending at the following times:

  • United Kingdom: midnight (BST)
  • Europe: 01:00 (CEST)
  • US East Coast: 8 pm (EDT)
  • US West Coast: 5 pm (PDT)

Whether you’re still working on the endgame or haven’t played Monster Hunter World since its release, the Spring Blossom Festival is a great opportunity to spend some tickets and vouchers and earn new armor pieces while you’re at it. Just remember that it will only be available for a couple of weeks!
