“ACI’s global passenger traffic rankings tell the story of an encouraging recovery trend, with most of the busiest airports before COVID-19 back on top,” said ACI Global Director General Luis Felipe de Oliveira.

He added: “While we are cautious that the recovery could face multiple obstacles, the momentum created by countries’ reopening plans could lead to increased travel in the second half of 2022.”
