What are Taskamster Challenge Tokens in Spider-Man and what are they for?
Challenge Tokens are one of the six resources you can earn in Spider-Man, and as we mentioned, they take a little longer to become available than most.
Marked on your map with an orange circular icon, challenges are set by the mysterious villain Taskmaster. There are four types of challenges, and each has a slightly different map icon:
- Stealth challenges
- Combat challenges
- Drone challenges
- Bomb Challenges
These test your ability to sneak, fight, web-sling, and parkour at high and low altitudes, respectively. There are three levels for each: Incredible, Spectacular and Ultimate, which also grants you one, two or three Challenge Tokens as a reward for each respectively.
As with all resources, there are a couple of uses for Challenge Tokens: purchasing new Spider-Man suits you’ve unlocked, or purchasing suit modifications, gadgets, and gadget upgrades.

How to get easier challenge tokens in Spider-Man
The best way to earn challenge tokens quickly is to excel at overcoming those challenges!
The most important advice we can give here is to wait. You might take on one or two challenges you encounter as you progress through Spider-Man’s story, but you’ll be much better at them once you reach the end or end of the game, with more things like abilities and gadgets unlocked, and A general sense of competence in all elements of the game.
We also recommend that you adjust your suit modifications and suit power for the challenge you are facing. Stacking them well, for example combining the increased focus generation of the advanced suit’s power with some focus and healing based mods for a combat challenge, will make a big difference in your ability to complete them effectively.
Likewise, as you level up, you also gradually increase things like your health or web movement speed, so again it’s worth addressing these later.
