How to find the Code and Key to rescue Dr. Connors in Spider-Man 2

Finding the key and code to rescue Dr. Connors in Spider-Man 2 is a big part of the main story mission of ‘Good Men’, which finds you sneaking around an abandoned zoo. You must be very quiet and careful here, or you will be in serious danger.

As you progress through the story of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, you can switch between playing as Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Two Spider-Men equals double the crime-fighting fun, but a sinister plot is soon revealed. As a crime-fighting duo, it’s up to you to save some unexpected victims of this plot.

Without further ado, we’re here to show you how to find the Code and Key to rescue Dr. Connors in Spider-Man 2.

How to find the code in Good Men in Spider-Man 2

To find the Code to free Dr. Conners in Spider-Man 2 you must be stealthy and find a way to get past the Hunters without being seen.

From the starting area, just after this section of the mission begins, look to your right. You should briefly see an objective marker here.

Start slowly walking down the stairs to here. When you reach the bottom of the stairs, you should see a gap in the door in front of you.

Use the left directional switch and R2 to run forward across this gap. Hunters shouldn’t see you this way.

Once you’ve gone through the opening, go up the large stepped green area in front of you and when you reach the top you should find another opening in a door to your left.

Go through the opening here and stay under cover, there are several hunters lurking around. Now, carefully throw a rock to distract the hunters, then move forward and look to your right.

You should see an opening here leading to a cave enclosure, head through here and then continue deeper into the cave.

Eventually, you will reach a large room and you will need to go to the computer terminal at the back of this area.

Interact with the computer with Triangle and then deal with Vika. Once you have done this, you must convince ‘Mongoose’ that you are Vika…

Convince Mongoose that you are Vika

To convince Mongoose that you are Vika in Spider-Man 2, there are several pieces of information you must find and investigate around the cave compound you are currently in.

Here are the locations of all the pieces you need to investigate:

  • From the computer terminal where you found Vika, there is a table to your right; Press Triangle to read the notebook on this table.
  • From the previous point, there is another board to your right; read the notes here too.
  • There is a blackboard next to the main entrance to the cave you passed earlier. Interact with it to see the board.

Once you’ve done all this, return to Vika’s radio and interact with her again.

After this interaction takes place, go to the board half covered by camouflage netting and interact with it to discover that the cage code is 0451.

How to find the keys in Good Men in Spider-Man 2

Now that you have the code, it’s time to sneak around the rest of the zoo to find the keys to Dr. Conner’s handcuffs.

From where you found the code, exit the same way you entered the cave, but exit through the opening to your right. Be careful here and stay under cover, there are more hunters lurking.

When you’re in cover here, look to the left and use a rock to distract the Hunters again. Then, while they’re distracted, go down the large stairs to your right and go through the door opening here.

You will now be in a large grassy area. Again, be careful here as there are many hunters lurking on the other side of the path to your left. Now, continue moving forward until you reach another set of large steps leading up to a glass building. But don’t go up the steps!

Instead, stop at the base of the stairs and look across the path to the next patch of grass where the Hunters are gathered. You should also notice some generators here.

Without alerting the Hunters, head to the generator closest to the stairs (it should also be marked for you) and interact with it with Triangle. As soon as you’ve done this, go back the way you came and stay hidden behind the stairs; most hunters will now be distracted by the generator malfunction.

Walk back towards the door you entered earlier, but look to your right and you should see an archway leading to the grassy area where the distracted hunters are.

Move forward here and move between the blankets to reach the other side of the area.

Once you’re on the other side of this area, look to your left and you should see a stack of boxes acting as steps leading you back to the central stone path.

Climb these steps and then seek cover behind the barrel in front of you. While hiding, look to your right and you should see a large Hunter helicopter surrounded by a pair of Hunters.

Again, throw some rocks to distract the Hunters and divert their attention from you. While they’re occupied, go down the stairs to the helicopter and then duck into the shelter to your left.

Next, make sure the Hunters are still distracted and then head to your left, past the fountain in the courtyard and up the stairs with lamps at the top on the opposite side of this section.

When you’re at the top of the stairs, you’ll be very close to finding the keys, so stick with us since you’re almost there!

Follow the path to the right towards the Reptile House and stay under cover as you do so. You will come to an area with a bonfire.

Throw a rock here to distract the hunters and then sneak past the fire to the next set of steps leading to the next area.

Now, you should be in an area that has a drone in the middle and a trio of hunters around it.

Sneak into the shelter on the left side of this area and search for the computer terminal by throwing rocks to distract the Hunters if necessary. When you find the computer, he interacts with it to activate the drone. This will go crazy and the Hunters will be distracted for a short period of time.

While they are busy with the drone, go up the next set of steps to your left and you will now be outside the Reptile House. There is a hunter near the entrance to the house, but they walk around, so we manage to sneak behind them.

How to get the keys

Once you are inside the Reptile House you should take cover as soon as possible, there are several armed hunters here and the one in the image below has the keys:

They stand out from other Hunters because of the markings on their face and their general appearance. You need to take them out without the other hunters noticing, and luckily someone has put up camouflage walls around this small area.

To activate the camouflage walls, look to your left. You should see another computer terminal here. Interact with it to raise the walls (don’t worry, the hunters don’t seem to notice them going up).

Distract the guards with a rock and wait for the one with the keys to come behind the camouflage wall. Make sure you’re out of sight of the other hunters, then sneak behind them without them seeing you and use Square to take them out.

Once you do this, you will automatically take the keys.

Now that you have the keys and the code, you must go rescue Dr. Conners!
