How to start the Comb of Champions world event and rewards for completing it
The Comb of Champions world event emerges as a mystery at the Rygjaflke start area in Norway. To find it, head northeast from the town of Fornburg, past the first nearby lake, and reach another pair of lakes with waterfalls. The one in the north is called Hildesvini Crag.
It’s at the south end of those two lakes, not Hildesvini, that you’ll find Bil, sitting smugly by the lake while a potential suitor of hers tries to find her missing comb. Whoever finds it, she promises, will win a night in her company.
Once you complete it, you will have the opportunity to romance Bil, following his dialogue prompts, as well as getting a 1200XP boost. However, there is also some wealth very close to it, so it’s worth finding it as well to get two rewards for the price of one.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla: Bil’s Comb Location and Maiden’s Missive Solution: Where to Find the Comb Lost in the Lake
On a table next to Bil, you will see a piece of paper called “A Maiden’s Missive”, which has the following clue:
Hail, brave champions, come and fetch my comb. It is lost and hidden, where only the brave go. Be brave of breath and blood, do not wallow in the mud, meet me by the turbulent waters, and be my fish in shining armor.
Talk to Bil to start the quest and then start searching.
Bil’s Comb Location
The comb is located in the nearby lake, at the bottom of a deep vertical tunnel next to the central rock.
To find it, swim and then climb the rock in the middle to avoid freezing and regain your health.
Then, if you’re looking at the waterfall, it’s to your left in the water. Continue down, vertically, and continue as far as you can. At the bottom of the lake there is a tunnel that you can swim in and that continues down a long way, with the comb at the bottom. Grab it and return to the rock to warm up.
While you’re there, swim to the waterfall, climb up a bit to a ledge, and go across it. That old tradition of finding treasure behind waterfalls continues, as there’s some wealth in a chest here, in the form of leather and iron ore.
Swim back to shore, talk to Bil, and that’s where the world event ends.
