Requests are optional side quests that you can complete in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Each Request challenges you to complete a task, such as capturing a specific Pokémon, in exchange for a reward. Some requests, however, involve traversing the Hisui region in search of collectibles or encounters with hidden Pokémon.

How do Requests work in Pokémon Legends Arceus?
Requests are optional side quests in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that are given to you by residents of the Hisui region, both in Jubilife Village and in the various locations you will visit, or from the blackboard in Professor Laventon’s laboratory.
You’ll know if a character has a request for you by the icon floating above their head, which also appears on the Arc Phone map. Some requests, however, are started automatically as part of the Legends: Arceus story.
Requests can be found on the board or by talking to people.
A Request can range from capturing a specific Pokémon to completing a Pokédex entry and collecting certain items, such as berries, for a character. Some people may even challenge you to a mini-game and certain Requests have multiple stages for you to complete.
There are also Requests that span the entire Hisui region, such as Request 22: Creepy Apparitions in the Night. This request challenges you to hunt down all 107 will-o’-the-wisps that are hidden in different parts of Hisui, so be sure to stay tuned!
By completing a Request you will receive a reward. Sometimes it’s something small, like Poké Balls or berries, other times it can be a Pokémon encounter or an upgrade to a facility in Jubilife Village, like adding a new field to the farm. For this reason, we recommend completing as many requests as possible, so you can unlock new features like Friendship Checker.
Completing requests can also help you complete research tasks and, in turn, your star rank.
To check what requests you’ve collected, open your Arc Phone and press Y when you see the map. This will take you to the Mission and Request page, where you will find all the Requests you have activated and completed. Here you can select a Follow Request, so that your target occasionally appears on the screen while you play.

You are also tasked with filling Hisui’s Pokédex by obtaining new evolutions such as Kleavor by evolving into Scyther, Wyrdeer by evolving into Stantler, Sneasler by evolving into Hisui Sneasel, and Overquil by evolving into Hisui Qwilfish. There are a ton of new evolution methods, including some for Eevee evolutions. Take the time to complete Requests too, like The Sea’s Legend, Wurmple’s Evolved! and find Wisp locations. Don’t forget to track all Unown locations as well.
Each request has also been assigned a specific number: Mushroom Cake Marketing, for example, is always Request 6, making it easy to determine which requests may be missing.
