Go Fest 2020: Welcome is the Special Research quest line released for the first day, Saturday, July 25, of Go Fest 2020.
To complete this special investigation, you must first purchase a ticket to Go Fest 2020.
Once you’ve purchased a ticket, you should make sure to play Pokémon on Saturday, July 25 between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. (local time). This will automatically unlock Go Fest 2020: Welcome and all its rewards.
If you do not purchase a Go Fest 2020 ticket or, if you have a Go Fest ticket, you forget to play on Saturday, July 25, Go Fest 2020: Welcome will not unlock and you will not be able to complete this story.
Go Fest 2020: Welcome has no deadline once unlocked, meaning you don’t have to complete it during Go Fest 2020.
Aside from being tied to a Go Fest 2020 ticket and being only one step long, Go Fest 2020: Welcome works like any other Special Research quest line; If you want to get the overall rewards, you must complete each of the individual challenges.
