Aeonblight Drake Location in Genshin Impact
The Aeonblight Drake in Genshin Impact is located beneath the eastern Devantaka Mountains in Sumeru. Devantaka Mountain is located in the southeastern part of the Sumeru Forest Zone, near The Chasm.
The entrance to the Aeonblight Drake is near the red challenge totem in the middle of the east cliff. Therefore, you need to use the Teleport Waypoint to the north, then walk and slide along the cliff until you find this red marker. The ruined entrance to Aeonblight Drake’s lair is located on the same cliff.
How to beat the Aeonblight Drake boss in Genshin Impact
To easily beat the Aeonblight Drake boss in Genshin Impact, you need to bring at least one archer on your team. They don’t need to deal much damage, you’ll just need someone who can shoot the Aeonblight Drake’s glowing circles when it flies. This will drop him to the ground and destroy his elemental resistances.
Make sure you bring an archer and hit the Drake’s yellow circles when he flies.
We brought Fischl equipped with the 4-Star Rust bow, but Yoimiya, Ganyu, Tighnari, and Yelan are some of the best archers. They are not essential, but if you have them, it will be even easier to defeat the Aeonblight Drake.
The other important thing you need to know to easily defeat the Aeonblight Drake boss is that he will gain resistance to whatever item you use the most. However, this resistance takes some time to develop and you will crush it when you use a bow to destroy his lights when he is flying.
If you want to be careful, bring at least two party members of different Elemental types that provide decent DPS. We went in with a team of Beidou, Fischl, Nahida and Zhongli, which worked well.
In short, to beat the Aeonblight Drake, use your best DPS and sub DPS to deal the most damage to him, then switch to an archer when he flies and shoot the glowing circles. When he falls, his Elemental resistance will disappear and you can use everything you have to deal as much damage as possible. Repeat this process until it is destroyed.
