The Genshin Impact 2.7 banner and event details for the delayed patch have been announced.

As always, there will be two banner phases and new limited-time events in the latest update, with Genshin Impact 2.7 Banner Wishes featuring two new characters and some returning favorites.

Genshin Impact 2.7 Banner Characters and Weapons

There are two new playable characters making their debut in Banner Wishes 2.7: Yelan during Banner’s first phase, Discerner of Enigmas, and Kuki Shinobu as part of Banner’s second phase, Oni’s Royale. They are joined by Arataki Itto and Xiao, back with repeated Banners.

All of the featured Banner characters you can spend Wishes on during Update 2.7 include:

  • Yelan (Discerner of Enigmas Banner – Phase 1): New 5-star Hydro archer character with high sub DPS (damage per second) and fast movement speed, who can also be used in a pure DPS role.
  • Xiao (Invitation to Worldly Life Banner – Phase 1): Returning 5-star Anemo polearm wielder with high DPS, who is also good at scouting.
  • Arataki Itto (Oni’s Royale Banner – Phase 2): Returning 5-star Geo Claymore character with very high DPS and critical damage capabilities.
  • Kuki Shinobu (Oni’s Royale Banner – Phase 2): New Electro 4-Star Sword user who is best used in a support role, but also deals good Electro AoE (Area of ​​Effect) damage.

The only new weapon in features 2.7 in the Epitome Invocation Banner is the Aqua Simulacra, a 5-star bow, which you can spend wishes on only during the first phase. This weapon banner also contains Xiao’s best weapon, the Primordial Jade Winged Spear.

Phase 1 will last three weeks until June 21 and then transition to Phase 2 for three weeks until the events of Banner 2.7 conclude on July 12 in preparation for Update 2.8.

Along with a new permanent story in the Archon Quest Interlude Chapter, there are four limited-time events occurring during Genshin Impact 2.7.

Starts after update 2.7 and ends June 20.

These combat challenges will be unlocked as part of the Archon Quest Interlude Chapter. After each round of Mastery, you must reorganize your party according to the rules of Mastery. It starts on June 22 and ends on July 4.

A strange, muddy adventure takes place in The Chasm. You must avoid the mysterious dark mud while defeating monsters, escorting hot air balloons, and trying to reach a high score to complete a rotating set of challenges.

The Great and Glorious Drumalong Festival of Almighty Arataki

It starts on June 13 and ends on July 4.

As part of the Almighty Arataki Drumalong Festival, you will receive a drum to use. Choose between Normal, Hard, and Pro difficulties to earn more rewards with harder challenges. It starts on June 29 and ends on July 11.

In this collection event, you can build your own robot! Gather and process materials using the new ‘Material Collector’, then place them in the Serenitea Pot to create a variety of different robotic cosmetic skins. Each type of model and animation is determined by the materials it uses and how it processes them during the event.

You must have done three things to participate in the Core of the Apparatus event:

Genshin Impact 2.7 Release Time

Announced ahead of the content reveal livestream, developer miHoYo revealed that Genshin Impact 2.7 will launch on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, after approximately five hours of server downtime starting at 6 a.m. (UTC +8) .

As this is only an approximate time of how long the servers will be down, you may be able to play patch 2.7 a little earlier or later than the times below.

With this in mind, the Genshin Impact 2.7 release times for other time zones are as follows:

You can pre-install some of the 2.7 content now on PC and mobile devices in advance to save time when the actual 2.7 patch is available on Tuesday.
