Fortnite Taco Shop locations - Visit different Taco Shops in a single match explained

Finding out where the Taco Shop locations are is one of Fortnite’s many weekly challenges.

Completing it will give you additional XP to help you earn many Season 3 rewards. Please note that you will need to have a Battle Pass in order to take on this challenge.

If you’re just getting started, our Fortnite Battle Royale tips and tricks can give you some helpful hints.

Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.

How visiting taquerias works in Fortnite

For the week 9 challenges, you have the following task:

  • Visit different taquerias in a single game (3 total, 5 battle stars)

Another one on the list includes finding the location of Moisty Mire’s treasure map.

On the other side of the map there are taco shops. You’ll find them in a variety of key locations, but like forbidden dance venues, they’re difficult to spot from a distance.

Once you find them, you’ll simply have to visit them, unlike last week’s Ice Cream Truck locations.

However, unlike other challenges, you must do it in a single match. Although this is more challenging than checking them off when possible, it is easier to track your progress.

But, as always, you must complete the game in order to complete the challenge; abandoning the game as soon as you pick it up will not work.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is here! To help you get started with this heist-themed season, we have guides on how to alert a security camera, protect data from Forecast Towers, and destroy weakened security walls or doors. There’s also a new Victory Umbrella! In the meantime, learn what the best weapons are, the current boosts, how to get XP quickly, how to use the best PC builds, and earn a crown of victory.

Taqueria locations in Fortnite

Although you need to locate three, luckily there are several more on the map. They are not easily visible from the Battlebus, so a map showing their positions is useful:

As the map above shows, they are located in or near the following locations:

  • West of the leaning towers
  • leaning towers
  • South of Shifty Shafts
  • tomato city
  • Retail row

It is worth reiterating that you must visit three in a single game. So which one do you go for, assuming many other players will do the same?

Tilted Towers is the game’s notorious hot spot, so while avoiding the ones on that side of the map might be a good shout, they’re also the closest three.

This video shows a route between each three on the west side of the map, allowing you to quickly reach each of them:

If you want to ignore Tilted Towers completely, you’ll have to search for at least one of the other two on that side of the map and then head east to find the last two.

Another consideration is where the circle is where you start running. Going to places outside of where the circle will be could work well, since those playing the game will go in the opposite direction.

With a finite number of locations and everyone wanting to complete this challenge, each location will likely be populated for the first week, so if you can wait a bit to finish this, that might help.
