Quinjets can now be found patrolling and landing on the island in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4.
Attacking these Quinjets will net you valuable loot, which could be what finally wins you the game. Be careful though, as each Quinjet is guarded by several Stark robots and they certainly don’t want you to take anything out of their plane.

Stark robots and supply drones in Fortnite explained
Stark Robots function exactly the same as Henchmen in past seasons of Fortnite, meaning they are hostile NPCs that you must defeat.
There are two stages to fighting a Stark robot; the first is when they are able to defend themselves, which ends when you lower their health enough, and the second is when they are hit, kneeling on the ground, allowing you to move or defeat them.
Shoot the Stark robots until you shoot them down.
Defeating Stark Robots is also the easiest way to find a Stark Industries Energy Rifle, which are rare and very powerful tier weapons.
You may also find several supply drones flying around the Fortnite map, especially near the landed Quinjets. These drones can be easily taken out with good aim and several bullets; You might even find a Silver Surfer board after destroying them.
It’s a good idea to take out all the Stark robots surrounding a Quinjet, before attacking it or they might kill you. The same goes for the supply drones you find flying around the map.
How to find a Quinjet Patrol landing spot in Fortnite
You will now see four Quinjets fly past the Battle Bus at the start of each match in Fortnite. Each Quinjet will fly to a different location on the Fortnite map and you decide if you want to attack them or not.
Aside from stumbling upon one while exploring the island, there are two ways to find a Quinjet.
The first is to open your map, where you can now find four small plane icons indicating the location of each Quinjet on the map.
Scan the map for small plane icons to find Quinjet locations.
Simply place a marker on one of these planes and head in that direction to find the Quinjet; You’ll know when you’re getting close because you’ll be able to see the billowing blue smoke.
Look for the blue smoke.
The second method is to watch where the Quinjets fly when you are on the Battle Bus or while you are gliding to the island. This is easier than it seems, because blue smoke will come out of each Quinjet’s landing site, allowing you to easily detect this location.

How to attack a Quinjet in Fortnite
Once you’ve decided which Quinjet you want to attack in your Fortnite match, you’ll want to make sure you’re properly equipped. If you don’t, you’ll most likely find yourself at the mercy of other players and the Stark robots guarding the Quinjet.
We recommend having your shield at least 50%, with some additional Shield Potions, a supply of bandages for after the fight, and one of your favorite weapons. Hopefully, this will allow you to survive any encounter you may encounter upon arriving at the Quinjet.
You can also bring enough materials to build a wall, because in the worst case scenario, you can always barricade yourself in the Quinjet.
Take your time approaching a Quinjet.
Take your time when approaching a Quinjet and listen for any type of gunshots, because other players may already be trying to raid the plane. If there is another player, then you can easily sit back and watch the fight. The Stark robots will either kill them or win the fight, allowing you to enter, assassinate them, and steal their prize.
However, if you are the first to the plane, resist the temptation to rush straight into battle. This will only draw the attention of the Stark Robots, giving them a chance to overwhelm you.
First eliminate the supply drones and then find or create cover that allows you to destroy the Stark robots without taking too much damage. You’ll want to work quickly to avoid the risk of other players arriving, and if you manage to raid the Quinjet, grab your loot and run.
Quinjets attract other players and already have a challenge associated with them, so any healing or weapon organization is best done a safe distance from the plane.
