Korra from Avatar: The Legend of Korra is the special skin for Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 5.
The Legend of Korra follows the adventures of Korra who, as the Avatar, has the ability to bend all four elements: Air, Earth, Water and Fire. It is the sequel to the acclaimed Avatar: The Last Airbender, set 70 years after this series and with Korra as the successor and reincarnation of Aang, the protagonist of the previous show.
Below you’ll find the release date for Korra’s avatar skin in Fortnite, along with all of the Legend of Korra cosmetic rewards that have been revealed so far.

Release date for Korra’s avatar skin in Fortnite
The special skin in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is Korra, from the main character of Avatar: The Legend of Korra, which is the sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender. (I’m not a fan of the recent live-action spin-off of this series.) Getting the Korra skin in Fortnite will also unlock the Korra Lego style in Lego Fortnite.
Based on the number of days listed in the Battle Pass countdown, Korra’s skin will release on Saturday, April 6. It’s important to note that special skins have a history of releasing earlier than the number of days listed in this countdown, so Korra could be available sooner than you think. That is, on Tuesday of that week, Tuesday, April 2.
As of this writing, we don’t know the exact release time for Korra, but it will most likely be available around the same update time used in Fortnite, which is when the daily challenges reset.
This launch time is:
- United Kingdom – 14:00 (GMT)
- Europe – 3:00 p.m. (CET)
- US East Coast: 9am (EST)
- US West Coast – 6 pm (PST)

Avatar The Legend of Korra cosmetic items in Fortnite explained
Although you can’t unlock the Korra skin in Fortnite just yet, you can see what it looks like. This also includes a preview of the Korra Lego look, which will unlock alongside Korra’s main look.

Unfortunately, we currently can’t see the other Legend of Korra cosmetic items, but thanks to the Battle Pass, we know that there will be 11 additional items, and one of these items will possibly be a variant skin for Korra. This skin could be a Korra with shorter hair to match her appearance in the Legend of Korra series finale. These items will most likely also include a Legend of Korra themed loading screen, a gathering tool, a Back Bling, and more.

How could we unlock Korra’s skin in Fortnite?
As of this writing, we don’t know how the Korra skin will be unlocked in Fortnite. However, looking back at Solid Snake from last season, it’s safe to assume that you’ll have to complete a series of challenges to unlock both Korra’s skin and the cosmetics associated with it.
The above is speculation, of course, as Fortnite has a history of occasionally throwing strange curveballs, so Korra’s skin could be unlocked using a different method.
