Fortnite Knife Point location - Search where the knife points on the Treasure Map explained

Fortnite’s Knife Point Location Challenge is unusual, asking you to find where the knife is pointing on the Treasure Map loading screen for one of the game’s many weekly Fortnite challenges.

Completing the Knife Point location task will give you additional XP to help you achieve the many rewards in Season 8.

Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.

Fortnite Knife Point Treasure Map Location Explained

For this week 6 challenge, you have the following task:

  • Find where the knife is pointing on the Treasure Map loading screen (1 total, 5 battle stars)

To complete the challenge that allows you to find the location of the Knife Point treasure map, you need to do one fairly simple thing: find the location and visit it, not unlike the magnifying glass from earlier in the season.

Here’s the location of Knife Point at a glance:

Specifically, you need to head to quadrant J6, between the desert racetrack and Lonely Lodge.

There you will find several trees not far from the edge of the desert.

You’re looking for a dark area, particularly for the location of the tip of the knife: it’s where the Battle Star will appear when you’re nearby.

Press the button and the Battle Star will be yours, completing the challenge. Pretty!

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is here! To help you get started with this heist-themed season, we have guides on how to alert a security camera, protect data from Forecast Towers, and destroy weakened security walls or doors. There’s also a new Victory Umbrella! In the meantime, learn what the best weapons are, the current boosts, how to get XP quickly, how to use the best PC builds, and earn a crown of victory.

Remember that if you’re struggling, wait until a week later to complete this challenge, as everyone will be attempting it on their debut, or opt for a team-based mode where players are more spread out in their landings.

By the way, if you were wondering what the Treasure Map is like, it is the same as the Magnifying Glass from the beginning of the season; is found on the loading screen as part of Season 8, as seen here:

When you’re done, there will be plenty of other challenges to take on this week, so keep playing!
