Call of Duty: Vanguard Operators give you a variety of characters to play in multiplayer.

How do operators work in Call of Duty: Vanguard?
There are a total of 12 operators in Call of Duty: Vanguard. Although they all look different and have their own backstories, there isn’t much of an impact in terms of gameplay.
Basically, in multiplayer, the operators are practically skins. Its only quirk comes down to Operator XP: while playing as a specific Operator, you’ll earn XP to progress through a total of 20 rewards.
Some of them are general XP boosts, but there are also cosmetics like skins, finishing moves, game intros, etc. Each also has a favorite weapon, which gives them an XP boost during use, so if you have a weapon you want to power up faster, unlocking and using that Operator is a good plan.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Operator Favorite Weapons List
While Operator XP is the highlight, there is an interesting incentive to use certain weapons for each Operator. Appropriately called favorite weapons, each of the 12 operators has a preferable option.
If you are using the operator’s favorite weapon, you will get double XP and also an increase in weapon XP. It’s a small touch, but it can be quite useful, especially during the early days when the meta hasn’t been set yet and you may find yourself searching for your own preferred loadouts.
