Visiting Expedition Outposts is actually a requirement for two of Fortnite’s many weekly challenges in Season 7.
Finding these Expedition Outpost locations will give you extra XP to help you earn plenty of Season 7 rewards.

Please note that this particular challenge can no longer be completed. What’s new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection, and Eren Jaeger skin. It’s a good idea to know how to get XP quickly in Fortnite.
Shipping Outpost Locations
You’ll need to visit several Expedition Outpost locations, and as far as we know, there are exactly seven on the map. They’re spread out pretty evenly, so it may take a couple of games, but luckily they’re pretty easy to find, as they’re all big, red buildings!
Here are seven we’ve found: enough to complete the challenge.
In more detail, the locations of the expedition outposts are:
West of Paradise Palms On the edge of the desert area that turns into grass, in quadrant H8.
South of Shifty Shafts On the side of a mountain in the snow zone, on the boundary line between quadrants D8 and D9.
West of Lonely Lodge on top of a hill in a green area, to the north in quadrant I5.
Northwest of the Tomato Temple, just across the river in the open grassy area, lower right corner of quadrant F3:
To the west and slightly south of Dusty Divot is a mountain. Top left corner of F6.
Northwest of Snobby Shores in the valley between the two large mountains heading north. On the border between B5 and C5
Northeast of Pleasant Park on another mountainside. Upper part of quadrant D3.

How is the visit to the expedition outposts completed?
For the Week 7 and Week 10 challenges, you have the following task:
- Week 7: Visit expedition outposts (7 total, 5 battle stars)
- Week 10: Visit expedition outposts in a single match (4 total, 5 battle stars)
On the other side of the map are expedition outposts. They’re easy to spot, they’re big, red buildings, and they’re actually subtly marked on the map too, and they haven’t changed locations between Week 7 and Week 10, so you can do both at once easily!
The only key point to note is that for the Week 10 challenges, you must visit all four required in one single partywhile for the Week 7 challenge, it is only 7 int in total, but in as many games as necessary.
When you find one, you don’t need to interact with it or do anything, just get within a few meters and it will be added to your total.
Do this a total of seven (or four) times to complete the challenge. As with other challenges, you must complete them while playing matches (you can’t enter the map without other players), so you’ll have to avoid combat encounters as you try to find each location, but fortunately you don’t have to. completed in one game, you can take as many games as you want to visit them all.
