Renovation materials are required on ziplines in the Corel region to complete the first part of Johnny’s ‘The Seaside Inn Saga’ side quest in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
While you only need to find four Renewal Materials to advance to the next part of the quest, you must find all of the Renewal Materials locations in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth to earn a three-star quest completion rating.

All Renovation Material Locations in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
We have more details and images below, but at a glance, here’s a map image of where to find all the Renovation Material locations in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth:

All renovation materials are located at the top of the ziplines, so if you see one in the distance, head to its highest point and you’ll find a pile of wood right at the edge – this is a renovation material.

The first location of the renovation material is right in front of the Johnny duo who gave you the quest, at the top of the zip line on the wooden tower west of a Remnawave Tower.

From the first location, follow the wooden walkway to the next zip line to find the second Renovation Material location in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

From the second location, go down the zipline and up the rocks on the right, then follow the road further north to the abandoned factory. Look directly at the entrance to the abandoned factory and climb the ladder past the broken red platform to find the third Renovation Material location.

Then, go down the abandoned factory zip line and look to the left to see another zip line. He climbs the rocks on the right side of his highest point, then climbs the yellow ledges. Turn right after climbing the ledges to see the fourth renovation material location.

From the last location, turn around and go up the stairs, then turn left to find the next renovation material location at the top of the zipline you previously saw below.

Take the zipline to the fifth location down, then go up the north road until you see a hill with a building on top of it in the distance. Take the path up this hill to find the training gym, then turn left to the next zip line and the sixth Renovation Material location in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

Now return to the training gym and instead of turning left, turn right to go up another path and find the seventh Renovation Material location on top of another zip line.

The final renovation material is found in the Twilight Hill Cache area, near a Remnawave Tower in the southwest area of this part of Corel.

To get here, zipline from the seventh material location, then take the main road south until you see the last zipline in the distance when the Remnawave Tower appears. Head up the hill with the high zipline to find Twilight Hill, then follow the path to the zipline location to collect the final materials.
Now that you have all eight renovation materials, return to the Johnny Duo in Costa Falls to hand in your resources and continue your quest.
