During this Pokémon Go event, you can collect event-exclusive Field Research tasks, capture more frequently appearing Fairy-type Pokémon, and complete Dazzling Dream Collection challenges.

Dazzling Dream Collection Challenge Pokémon List in Pokémon Go
The Dazzling Dream Collection challenge is available in Pokémon Go until Tuesday, January 16 at 8 pm (local time). By completing this challenge before this deadline, you will earn a selection of rewards and add progress to your Elite Collector Medal.
Please note that two of the Pokémon in this Collection Challenge, Wigglytuff and Clefable, must be obtained through evolution.
Here are all the Pokémon in the Dazzling Dream Collection Challenge, along with how to find them:
- Jigglypuff: Wild or Seasonal Field Research Task (Catch 10 Pokémon)
- Wigglytuff: Evolve into Jigglypuff using 50 Jigglypuff Candies.
- Clefairy – In the wild
- Clefable: Evolve into Clefairy using 50 Clefairy Candies.
- Cottonee: Wild or Seasonal Field Research Task (Take a Snapshot of a Wild Pokémon)
- Swirlix: Field Research Task in the Wild or Event Exclusive (Boost a Pokémon 10x)
- Spritzee: Field Research Task in the Wild or Event Exclusive (Hatch an Egg)
- Cutiefly: Field Research Task in the Wild or Event Exclusive (Boosts a Pokémon 10x)
This challenge will reward you with 2000 XP, 1000 Stardust and Carbink.
List of Pokémon from the Dazzling Dream Hatch Collection challenge in Pokémon Go
The Dazzling Dream Hatch Collection challenge will run throughout the Dazzling Dream event in Pokémon Go and will end on Tuesday, January 16 at 8 pm (local time). By completing this challenge before the deadline, you will receive a number of rewards and add progress to your Elite Collector Medal.
Remember: you must obtain all of the Pokémon for this Collection Challenge by hatching eggs.
Below you’ll find all the Pokémon in the Dazzling Dream Hatch Collection Challenge, plus how to find them:
- Togepi: event-exclusive 7km egg or seasonal 2km egg
- Spritzee: event-exclusive 7km egg
- Swirlix: event-exclusive 7km egg

For completing this challenge, you will earn 30,000 XP, 10,000 Stardust, and Carbink.
It’s the Season of Eternal Journeys in Pokémon Go, so be sure to complete the Eternal Journeys quest! The Dazzling Dream event is currently underway. During it, take the time to try out Routes, Gift Exchange, and Party Play while you hunt for rare Pokémon, battle in Go Battle League, or compete in PokéStop Showcases.
Dazzling Dream Field Research Tasks in Pokémon Go
By spinning PokéStops during the Dazzling Dream event in Pokémon Go, you may receive field research tasks exclusive to the event. These tasks can then be saved to your Field Research Collection and completed after the event is over. However, you may want to complete them during the event, as the encounters they reward will help you complete previous collection challenges.
These are the Dazzling Dream field research tasks in Pokémon Go:
- Evolve a Fairy-type Pokémon reward: 20 Mega Gardevoir or Altaria Energy
- Reward for Evolving 3 Fairy-type Pokémon: encounter with Carbink
- Reward for hatching an egg: encounter with Alolan Vulpix or Spritzee
- Reward for hatching 2 eggs: encounter with Mawile
- Power up a Pokémon 10 times the reward: encounter with Swirlix or Cutiefly

Everything you need to know about the Dazzling Dream event in Pokémon Go
There are two bonuses that run throughout the Dazzling Dream event in Pokémon Go: Double Stardust Catch and Double Stardust Hatching. Both bonuses will be available until the event ends on Tuesday, January 16 at 8 pm (local time).
The Dazzling Dream also sees the release of the brilliant Cutiefly and Ribombee.
