Scraps of Mystery I Location: Head to Longwythe Outpost and look under the plastic chair in the porch area at the far end of the motel reception. Picking it up will mark a location to the southeast, near the entrance to Balouve Mines. Head towards the marker and you will find a treasure location, and the map fragment is located nearby.

Scraps of Mystery II Location: In front of the Hunter outpost at Prairie Outpost is a wooden cabin, and hidden between the cabin and the fence is a small wooden cart where you will find the second fragment. Picking it up will direct you to areas near the Keycatrich Trench dungeon. Head to the marker and look in the northeast corner of the area to find the fragment on another cart.

Scraps of Mystery III Location: Between Hammerhead and Prarie Outpost is a collection of ruined buildings and water towers. Head to the small cabin up the hill to the east, and the scrap metal is on the ground near some sacks. Head to the marker in Three Valleys and the map can be found behind some concrete pillars against the rock wall.

Scraps of Mystery IV Location: This requires entering the Crestholm Canals, so you’ll need to be around level 50 to collect the fragment, although you can collect the fragment earlier. Head to the Esterleiden Blockade parking lot, deal with the Imperial soldiers, and go through the gate to the end of the path.
Scrap metal is located on the ground behind the red barriers in the southwest corner. Head to the nearby dungeon entrance (see the dungeon guide for details), follow the passage and climb the steps at the end, turn right at the top, and turn left at the junction ahead. Go down to the area below, turn right, then turn right again and go up the ramp.
Head down the hall and turn left, turn right when you reach the metal bars and go down the gap at the end. Turn right and when you reach the four-way junction, go through the door ahead and it will be just to the left, against the wall.

Scraps of Mystery V Location: The next fragment is located near where the third map was found. There is a dirt road that goes south from the main road through Three Valleys until you find the remains of a small building next to a small segment of pipe sticking out of the ground; the scrap metal is in the rubble under the pipe.
Head to the marker and the map fragment stands on a rock just west of the center of the search area.

Scraps of Mystery VI Location: Head to the parking spot just west of Nebulawood and locate the scrap metal next to the rusty car at the northern end. The map fragment is hidden in the corner right in the center of the search area.

Scraps of Mystery VII Location: In the middle of the northern part of the Chocobo race track are a pair of cylindrical buildings with golden roofs; the seventh fragment is under the stairs in front of the taller of the two. Head just south of the center of the marker and look behind the square pillar to the west to find the fragment.

Scraps of Mystery VIII Location: Next to the Cauthess rest area are two warehouses. Enter the nearest one and the scrap metal will be in the right corner of the floor near the shelves. The fragment is near the center of the marked area, hidden next to a downed Imperial troop transport.

Scraps of Mystery IX Location: Next to the Crow’s Nest Diner in the Taelpar Rest Area are a pair of shipping containers converted into cabins. Head behind them and the scrap metal is hidden under the one closest to the road. To find the fragment, park at the northern end of the search area, join the path through the forest and head east staying hidden along the large rock wall on your right, and you will find it hidden in some bushes just west of the center marker.

Scraps of Mystery XI Location: Head to the Alpine Stable parking spot in Pallareth Pass and head up the hill to the west. You will find the remains of a house and the scrap metal is inside, in the westernmost corner. The map fragment is found in Lestallum, hidden in a metal grate on the steps leading down from the weapons dealer.

Scraps of Mystery XII Location: At the western end of Meldacio Hunter HQ is a small cabin with trees and flowers planted at one end. Head behind the western side and the scrap metal will be in the yellow container hidden around the corner. The map fragment is located in a small concrete bunker on the road loop west of Pallareth Pass.

Scraps of Mystery XIII Location: South of the entrance to the Malmalam Thicket dungeon is a small hut, and the remains are hidden on the side near the umbrella. To collect the map fragment you will need to have been to Altissia and have access to the Cape Caem lighthouse elevator. Take the elevator to the terrace, which is located behind the balcony.
