Renalla Queen of the Full Moon is one of the many bosses you will have to fight to continue the story of Elden Ring.
This warlock boss can be found in the Raya Lucaria area of Elden Ring, which is itself located in the middle part of the Liurnia of the Lakes region of the game.

Preparing for Renalla Queen of the Full Moon actually requires very little work. Once you’ve secured passage to the boss area from the Siege of Grace that marks the fight against the Red Wolf of Radagon, you’ll have done the hard part of preparing for the fight ahead.
We only recommend using armor that protects against magical attacks to fight Renalla Queen of the Full Moon. The boss and her minions use magic attacks to attack you and anyone who confronts her, so we recommend armor that gives you a fighting chance against magic.
Renalla Queen of the Full Moon Tips: How to Beat Renalla Queen of the Full Moon
If you remember the Deacons of the Depths fight from Dark Souls 3, you’re in familiar territory. The battle begins with Renalla Queen of the Full Moon hanging above the royal boss arena, and dozens of minions lying on the ground below her.
The goal of the game here is to identify which minions you need to kill to burst Renalla’s bubble (literally) and send her to the ground. You can do this by killing any minions that have a golden aura around them, as shown just below, as killing three of these minions will completely break Renalla’s shield and she will fall to the floor below so you can deal damage to her. .
As soon as you see a golden aura appear around Renalla, Queen of the Full Moon, it’s time to back away. A big area-based attack is coming and Renalla will ascend back into her strange orb and you’ll have to repeat the whole process again.
To be honest, there isn’t much to look forward to in this first phase. Keep moving through the boss arena and we recommend using physical weapons against Renalla’s minions to kill them as quickly as possible. The only thing to watch out for is when Renalla Queen of the Full Moon can cause small bursts of fire from above in a given area, although they are very easy to see and equally easy to dodge and move out of the way.
Once Renalla’s health is completely depleted, it’s time for the second phase of the fight. The boss begins this phase by launching a huge magical laser beam at you, which you must immediately run in a circular motion around the boss to avoid.
Renalla can also employ an ice-based attack against you, summoning some ice shards into the air, which will then focus on you after a few seconds. Finally, another attack to watch out for is a zigzag icy sword that the boss launches at you through the air, but both attacks can be dodged relatively easily if you have the right timing.
The hardest part of this phase of the fight with Renalla is getting to her. The boss constantly moves away from you, and even if you manage to stagger her with a few hits, he can jump back into the air while he fires homing missiles at you. We definitely recommend using an Ash Summon with multiple characters, like the wolves here, as it will draw Renalla’s attention for as long as you need to close the gap with her.
