Elden Ring Bloodhound’s Fang location

The Bloodhound’s Fang, a large curved sword, is the most skilled melee weapon you can find in Elden Ring.

While it requires Strength and Dexterity stats, when it comes to high Dexterity scaling, the Hound’s Fang is the best weapon to choose.

Better yet, it’s a weapon that can be found near the beginning of the game in Limgrave, although you’ll have to overcome a pretty difficult boss fight to get it.

Bloodhound’s Fang Location in Elden Ring Explained

To find the location of Bloodhound’s Fang, start from the Agheel Lake South Site of Grace and follow a path that will take you to Forlorn Hound Evergaol.

Evergaols similar to this can be found throughout the world, leading you into an arena against a tough mini-boss, in this case, Bloodhound Knight Darriwil. He’s also wielding the weapon you’re looking for, so consider it an introduction to the cool things you can do by using it against yourself.

The Hound’s Fang has stat requirements of 18 Strength and 17 Dexterity, meaning you’ll need to have leveled up beyond your starting class stats before you can wield it.

But once you can, his unique ability, Bloodhound’s Finesse, is one of the best: you attack upwards, but the momentum causes you to do an acrobatic backflip away from your enemy. That attack alone deals as much, if not more, than a charged attack, which can greatly affect an enemy’s poise.

Once you’ve decided on a starting class and a starting keepsake item, you first need to figure out how to level up, how to respec, and how to use Ashes of War. Do you need any directions from there? Our Elden Ring walkthrough and Elden Ring boss order can help you know where to go next, but we also recommend looking for Golden Seeds, Sacred Tears, Crystal Tears, Talismans, and some of our top weapon and armor picks. If you are nearing the end of the game, we can help you with the Volcano Manor and Rykard quest, the Haligtree Secret Medallion locations, solving Ordina, the Liturgical Town puzzle, Millicent’s quest, Commander Niall, Morgott, Godskin Duo , Maliketh and Malenia.

Better yet, this can be followed by a strong attack called Bloodhound’s Step, as you charge with a devastating thrust that cuts through an enemy’s attack.

Good luck defeating the Bloodhound Knight Darriwil!
