Destiny 2 Mechabre god roll and drop location

Destiny 2 Mechabre god roll and drop location

Mechabre is a sniper rifle that debuted in Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost event in 2022.

This rifle combines a Gundam-inspired aesthetic with an aggressive frame that is both forceful and easy to handle. It strikes a near-ideal balance and can be solid in PvE (player versus environment) and revolutionary in PvP (competitive) modes.

This page will detail how to get Mechabre in Destiny 2 and which Machabre god rolls you should follow for maximum effect.

How to get Mechabre in Destiny 2

Mechabre is exclusive to Festival of the Lost in 2022.

As with the entire Lost Weapons Festival, you will need to participate in the event in order to receive Mechabre.

A guaranteed Mechabre is awarded after completing the quest Gone But Not Forgotten.

Another Mechabre can be earned by completing the Sniperstition event challenge.

While each of them will reward a single Mechabre, the main source of farming is the Enchanted Lost Sectors. In these unique event activities, you and your team will fight the Headless and a boss.

They also grant Festival of the Lost weapons upon completion at a very high rate, including Mechabre.

The Season of the Depths is here along with the Into the Depths quest. You can also know how to go fishing! Don’t forget to keep an eye on the Lost Sector and King’s Fall challenge rotation schedule!

Mechabre God Roll Recommendation in Destiny 2

Each Mechabre has a source trait, called a quest group, and a random set of perks. The search party grants improved aim down speed and movement speed while aiming down sight, as long as there are no allies nearby.

The ‘God Roll’, or the best possible version of the weapon, will depend on the user and the application. That said, there is a version of Mechabre that we can recommend to any player.

Here’s our recommended Mechabre god roll in Destiny 2:

  • Arrowhead breakage
  • Flared Magwell
  • Snapshot views
  • Initial shot

As usual, Arrowhead Break is our recommendation for the canyon. Snipers are the longest-range weapons in Destiny 2, so barrels that add extra range are wasted potential. Instead, Arrowhead Break’s improved handling will help you quickly aim and line up critical hits, while the improved knockback stat makes it much easier to repeatedly attack strong enemies or finish off wounded Guardians in the Crucible.

Flared Magwell increases stability and improves reload speed, both keys to maintaining sustained fire against targets. It’s perfect for setting up DPS against difficult targets or keeping you in the action.

Snapshot Sights are the must-have perk for shooting in PvP and are also beneficial in PvE. This perk significantly increases the aiming down animation speed, allowing Guardians to go from sighting a target to aiming and shooting much faster. It’s literally a lifesaver in the Crucible and great for players who are quickly switching between their arsenal of weapons against The Darkness.

Mechabre is at his best when he can aim quickly, fire accurately, and be ready to follow up as needed to deliver the killing blow. The opening shot starts with increased aim assist, improved range, narrower precision cone, and smaller precision cone growth. In short, the first shot is much more likely to land accurately, killing the majority of the Guardians and establishing the accurate, sustained fire around which the rest of the roll is built.

As usual, once you have your preferred roll, be sure to upgrade it to Masterwork to give it a stat boost, the ability to spawn orbs on multiple kills, and add the option for a kill tracker.
