How to get final beta access to Honkai: Star Rail

The main way to access the Honkai: Star Rail beta is now over, but don’t worry! If you didn’t get access, there will be other opportunities to play during the beta.

For those who signed up for the beta, emails will now be sent to those who were selected, detailing which server they should use when the beta launches and a link to see which platforms they have access to the beta on. It can be PC, iOS, or Android, but you may have been granted access to more than one platform. The link in the email will let you know what you’ll have access to when the beta is live.

If you weren’t picked or missed the initial registration period, there are other ways to play the final beta of Honkai: Star Rail.

The first way to get into the beta if you missed the initial sign-up period is by participating in Twitch Drops. You must visit the Honkai website to link your account to Twitch, but you can only do this if you have previously registered for the game. The same page will allow you to do this before linking your Twitch account. Only then will you be able to click the ‘Link and activate Twitch Drops’ button and then watch the game’s Twitch stream to get a free avatar frame.

Please note that only the first 20,000 people who successfully link their accounts and activate Twitch Drops will have access to the final beta on PC this way. Twitch Drops available from watching eligible Honkai: Star Rail streams will only be available when the beta is released and people are streaming it.

What will be in the final beta of Honkai: Star Rail?

We have compiled all the information we could find about the news in the final beta of Honkai: Star Rail:

  • Updating your phone’s messaging and camera features
  • Pom-Pom is wearing a new uniform.
  • New help from Pom-Pom if you talk to him
  • Rewards for returning to the Express if your Trailblazer level has increased

It’s unclear if you’ll be able to travel to these locations in the beta, but based on recent blog posts, it looks like you’ll be able to tour many Xianzhou and Luofa to experience different activities, including:

  • Starskiff Central Shelter
  • cloudford
  • Astronomer Navalia
  • Astrum Palace
  • jade gate
  • The iridescent living room
  • Grocery store sales
  • food stalls
  • Vending machines
  • Popular performance art
  • Growing stellar skiffs
  • Stargazer Avenue

In addition to new content and potentially a new area to explore, we expect many of the same areas and features from previous betas to return in this final version, including story missions, optional exploration, and battles.

However, please note that none of your progress in the beta will carry over to the game when it launches. None of your progress in previous beta versions will carry over to this final test either.

Since no progression will be saved, there will also be no purchasable items in the beta. Therefore, you currently cannot purchase anything in-game to spend on its gacha characters.

I hope you have fun in the beta!
