Destiny 2 Dungeon and Raid rotation schedule this week

Learning the dungeon and raid rotation allows you to progress faster toward Destiny 2’s end-game leveling.

Each week, a new dungeon and raid is highlighted to offer drops of Pinnacle, the most powerful gear in Destiny 2.

It’s also a good excuse to go back to some earlier endgame activities that you may have overlooked and pick up some unique loot along the way.

How does Destiny 2’s raid and dungeon rotation schedule work?

Destiny 2 contains several dungeons and raids. These are final activities, tailored for teams of three and six expert Guardians, respectively.

The latest of each, such as Root of Nightmares in the Season of the Deep, will award Pinnacle rewards the first time you complete them each week and reset at the weekly reset.

This season, the current dungeon is Ghosts of the Deep and the current raid is Crota’s End.

In addition to this, an older dungeon and raid will be introduced, and a Pinnacle reward will also be given upon completion. This is only on the final boss, so feel free to join a friend or team if they have a checkpoint.

The Pinnacle will only appear once, but you can also farm the featured dungeons and raids to obtain legendary gear specific to those locations. It’s a great way to round out your collection and/or pursue a divine roll with a specific weapon, like Fatebringer from Vault of Glass.
