If you’ve spent any time with Dark Souls, even if you’ve never beaten the Taurus Demon, then you’ll be familiar with the rare health-restoring Estus and you’ll already know to look for them. Dark Souls 3 changes things slightly. On top of that, there are also bone fragments that can be collected and burned to increase the amount of HP each charge of Estus Flask will restore.

Do you have all that? Good. Now, let’s move on to the locations of the bone fragments.
Foot of the High Wall From the Ruined Bridge bonfire, go through the arches to the area where you will be bombarded by spears. To the right of the white tree is a corpse holding the fragment.
Cathedral of the Depths After passing through the cemetery, crossing the narrow bridge and turning right, go down to the area on the right to find another white tree with a shard nearby.

Farron Keep Located inside the tower closest to the door that you must open by extinguishing the three fires.
Carthus Catacombs Outrun the first bone ball up the stairs and through the archway. When it hits the wall ahead, it will break and drop another shard.
Irithyll of the Boreal Valley Starting from the Yorshka Church bonfire, go down the small flight of stairs and follow the cemetery to the right. The fragment can be found next to the large tombstone at the end.
Desecrated Capital It is conveniently located on a corpse right next to the Desecrated Capital bonfire. You’ll have to work hard to miss it, really.
Lothric Castle From the Dragon Barracks bonfire, head to the stone bridge where the dragons clashed and drop into the stone ditch below to find a shard under the bridge.
Burning Lake There are two in this area. Killing the large worm will reward you with one, and the other can be found by going down the stairs from the bonfire in the Archdemon’s Antechamber, through the next two rooms, turning right at the junction and heading to the far left of the area with the fire demons
Great Archives As you move across the rooftops you will come across a gargoyle. Once you’ve taken care of him, head left instead of just dropping down. A second gargoyle will appear; Once you’ve taken care of it, look around you. Nearby you will find a window that you can enter to find the last fragment.
