Call of Duty WW2 Prestige rewards explained: What you unlock for each Soldier Prestige and Weapon Prestige

Call of Duty WW2 Prestige is somewhat similar to previous games, but with more things to max out than usual.

Prestige in a Call of Duty game means reaching the maximum level and then starting over to continue accumulating XP again. While the many unlocks you’ve earned along the way are reset, there are exclusive rewards and some obvious distinction to say you’ve risen in rank with anyone you face online.

There are three areas where you can gain prestige with Call of Duty WW2: Soldier Prestige, Division Prestige, and Weapon Prestige, giving you plenty to work on as you master multiplayer.

Soldier Prestige Rewards

Once you reach your overall rank of 55, you will be able to reach a new area of the headquarters known as Prestige Outlook, which is located in the hallway to the right of where you find your mail.

By visiting the General at the edge of the cliff you can obtain Soldier Prestige, which does the following:

  • Resets you to rank 1
  • Resets unlocks for weapons, equipment, basic training, and score streaks.
  • Maintains weapon attachments, challenge, camouflage, and calling card progression.
  • Unlocks a unique Prestige Player Card, Prestige Helmet.
  • Unlock a new class space
  • Gives you a Prestige Unlock token (which allows you to unlock anything permanently, even after Prestige)
  • Adds a temporary prestige symbol to the headquarters
  • Permanent access to the Prestige Viewpoint at Headquarters
  • Unlocking achievements/trophies

You can Prestige multiple times, each time increasing your Prestige rank and giving you new bonus cosmetic items. Here’s PrestigeIsKey on YouTube showing the Prestige Overlook area and what exactly is unlocked when you use Prestige for the first time:

Division Prestige Rewards

Each of the five Divisions has its own ranks. Once you have reached the fourth rank, you can choose Prestige as you would with your general Soldier rank. Doing so restores all benefits up to that point (all of which are explained in our Division guide) and for the first time in any Division, Achievement or Trophy.

Like Soldier Prestige, you can split Prestige more than once, granting additional bonuses:

  • Division Prestige 1: Unique weapon and basic training
  • Division Prestige 2: Unique Player Card
  • Division Prestige 3: unique uniform
  • Division Prestige 4: Weapon Variant

You can see the above in FlipArtz’s YouTube video showing all four Prestiges:

Weapon Prestige Rewards

Each weapon, both primary and secondary, also has its own range. As you rank up a weapon, you’ll unlock more attachments, and deciding to get Prestige from rank 12 at the Gunsmith in Headquarters resets those unlocks, but grants you the following in return:

  • Prestige 1 – Clan Tag
  • Prestige 2 – Kill Counter

You can add both to the weapon customization area in their own Prestige field. Like Prestiging elsewhere, it’s a great cosmetic bonus to justify the hours you’ve put into multiplayer.
