Black Ops – Cold War: Warzone Season 1 release time explained in BST, CEST, EDT and PDT

Update (December 16): We’re now live! Here’s everything you need to know about the new season:

Original story: The Black Ops – Cold War: Warzone Season 1 release date is Wednesday, December 16, and the season will launch at the following times:

  • UK: 7am (BST/UK)
  • Europe: 08:00 (CEST / Western Europe)
  • US East Coast: 2am (EST/US East Coast)
  • US West Coast: 11 pm December 15 (PST/US West Coast)

These times are similar to previous seasons, meaning those in Europe can wake up to the new season, or those across the pond have the option of starting in the late afternoon or very early morning. (Which we advise against: sleep is important!)

Note to Black Ops: Cold War players: You can download the update now before the new season begins, with a hint of when that time will arrive in the first Cold War patch notes.

Meanwhile, Warzone players will receive an update sometime today; Hopefully, in both cases, you’ll be able to start playing at the above release times without having to wait for a long download first.

As always, be prepared for the times above to change in case there are any last minute changes or hiccups on the part of the developer.
