Warzone’s Fractured Intel missions are a set of objectives within Modern Warfare’s Battle Royale mode.
Released in the first week of Season 4, they allow you to find items on the map as you play by following a series of clues.
Completing each one rewards you with XP, while the full set rewards you with 10,000 XP, giving you a boost toward completing your Season 4 Battle Pass.

Warzone Fractured Intel Missions and Their Locations
The following ‘Fractured’ challenges were released on June 11, 2020.
Each step of fractured Intel must be completed in sequence. You can find it within the Challenges area of the Warzone menu, then tab all the way to find these objectives.
Remember that these must be done in Warzone matches. If you’re having a hard time grabbing certain items because the areas are overcrowded (after all, Intel locations are the same for everyone), try landing near the location and waiting a few minutes before moving, or play until you enter the Gulag and use that second match appearance to pay a visit (assuming you win, of course).
Once this is done, you can move on to Hunt Enemy Intel and Hidden Cargo Intel.
Warzone Fractured Intel Location 1 – Find the location in the message Ghost sent you
For the first fractured target, you are given the clue “Find the location in the message Ghost sent you” and the following image for 2500 XP:
To complete this, visit the TV station, the named location in the middle of the map.
Specifically, you must go to the newsroom area, which is located on the ground floor of the main building.
Look at the desktop and you will see Intel. Press the button and it will be yours.
If you’re having trouble doing this Intel quickly (the TV station is a popular location), try parachuting through the broken segment of the ceiling to the ground floor, then go through the double doors and turn right, where the desk will be . in front of you.
Warzone Fractured Intel Location 2: Evacuations were underway…
For the second fractured objective, you are given the clue “Evacations were taking place…” and the following image for 5000 XP:
To complete this, visit the airport, the named location in the west of the map.
You should visit the north side of the main terminal building, where you can see a corridor leading out from the top of the building.
The easiest way to do this is to parachute through the broken part of the nearby ceiling, which will leave you next to the objective.
Interact with the desktop when prompted to proceed to the next fractional step.
Warzone Fractured Intel Location 3: Communications were disrupted before the attack. Follow the trail…
For the third fractured objective, you are given the clue “Communications were cut before the attack. Follow the trail…” and the following image for 5000 XP:
This step forces you to visit the airport again, but this time you must visit the control tower just north of the main building.
You have to reach the top floor of the tower. To do this, you need to start on the ground floor and use the elevator shaft inside to zip line up; you cannot enter by parachuting from above.
From there, go up the stairs and to your right is where you can interact and collect information.
Warzone Fractured Intel Location 4: Verdansk ATC reported that a transponder went offline…
For the fourth fractured target, you are given the clue “Verdansk ATC reported that a transponder was disconnected…” and the following image for 5000 XP:
This location allows you to find the plane crash site in the north of the map.
Specifically, you need to go directly south of the military base, where there is a wooded area. You will find the crashed plane here; Fortunately, it is quite visible when parachuting.
The plane has been divided into sections and you need to go to the nose (or front) of the plane, which is to the west.
Look between the seats and you will find the information.
Warzone Fractured Intel Location 5: A downed airliner attempted to contact Arklov Air Force Base…
For the fifth fractured target, you are given the clue “A downed plane attempted to contact Arklov Air Force Base…” and the following image for 5000 XP:
This objective asks you to go to the Military Base proper, which is again to the north.
The Military Base is a place made up mostly of individual buildings, but you’ll want to find the largest one right next to the center.
From here, head to the next building in the southwest.
Inside, on the ground floor, you will find the information on the desk.
Warzone Fractured Intel Location 6: Signals Intelligence Decrypted Message After Attack
For the sixth fractured target, you are given the clue “Signals Intelligence decrypted a message after the attack” and the following image for 10,000 XP:
This objective has you go to the Military Base once again, which is again in the north of the map.
Visit the southwesternmost building here: it stands in its own fenced compound next to a large tower.
Inside this corner building are two monitors on a desk and the Intel location.

Warzone Fractured Intel Location 7 Explained
Once the sixth step is completed, the seventh and final step of Fractured will now be completed.
There will be no text, although an image will appear, hinting at next week’s Intel:
