A variety of Super Mario-themed items have been released in Animal Crossing: New Horizons to celebrate the series’ 35th anniversary.
These items include a variety of Super Mario-themed furniture, such as Super Mushrooms and Thwomps, and clothing items inspired by Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Wario.
Best of all, though, are the warp tubes, which will allow you to quickly travel between two different locations on your island. With these pipes in place, you can quickly move from one corner of your island to another!

How to buy Super Mario items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
A variety of Super Mario items will be available in New Horizons starting Monday, March 1.
If you would like to purchase any of these items, you must visit Nook Stop in Residential Services to access Nook Shopping or use the Nook Shopping app on your Nook phone. This app will only unlock after you have purchased 100 items through Nook Stop, so it may take some time to unlock.
Once you are inside the app, select “Special Products” and scroll down to the “Promotional” section. Here you will find the Super Mario items, along with the Pocket Camp items if you have unlocked them.
Super Mario items are subject to Nook Shopping rules of five items per day and you will have to wait a day for them to arrive in the mail. This means you may have to wait a bit if you plan on building a Mario-themed area on your island, although you can always travel back in time to take your troubles away.
How to use warp pipes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Warp tubes are by far the most interesting Super Mario element released in New Horizons, because they allow you to create a fast travel location from one location to another.
You must place at least two pipes around your island.
If you want to use the pipe’s fast travel capabilities, you’ll first need to purchase two pipes, at 5,000 bells each, from Nook Shopping, either at the Nook Stop in Residential Services or from the app on your phone.
Remember: You’ll have to wait a day for these items to arrive and you can only order five items on Nook Shopping at a time, so be sure to plan your purchases carefully.
Once you have received your pipes, place them in different places on your island.
If you like to visit other players’ islands, you can place one outside your house and the other next to the airport, so you don’t have to waste time running around your island. However, if you’re more focused on Bell, you can place one pipe next to Nook’s Cranny and the other near your fruit orchard or another place to earn money, allowing you to quickly visit the shop whenever you want.
Putting one near your museum is a good idea.
The important thing to remember is that you must place two pipes on your island or else you won’t go anywhere.
You can have more than two pipes on your island, but the order in which you travel between them will be random. This means it may take a couple of tries to get to your desired location, and you may start to wonder if walking there would have been faster. Maybe you’ll get lost in the pipes that Tom Nook manages to install during the night…

If you want to purchase any of the Super Mario items in New Horizons, you’ll need to make sure you’ve downloaded the free February patch, which is available from Thursday, February 25.
