Sources from the Ministry of Defense reported this Thursday on the successful tests of the Agni 5 nuclear-capable ballistic missile.

Agni missiles are formulated and manufactured by DRDO, Defense Research and Development Organization. They are used by the Indian Armed Forces.

India’s most lethal new missile yet can cover a range of almost 8,000 kilometers in any direction, which means the missile can cover a distance of around 8,000 kilometers with a potential for nuclear destruction and can hit targets at more of 5,400 kilometers.

It can cover areas ranging from China in the East to almost all of Europe in the West.

These missiles have the ability to traverse faster than high-end machine gun ammunition fire and these missiles can be launched only after the orders of the Prime Minister of India and no other authority.
